Lunch menu for €15!! Was absolutely fantastic. Lovely and pleasant French restaurant and very friendly service. Very good and inexpensive house wine (rose). 10 out of 10.

We came back to Montagrier this year as it is lovely. We did not have a meal here this time but I recommend coming to Montagrier on a Friday evening in the summer for the evening Market. Its a small one but there are some wonderful local producers, you can sit in the square and sample all sorts and there... More
Returned for the third time and as always the food is good, the service is charming and very good value. Will be there again on Friday !
This restaurant is situated in the centre of the village and is no secret to the locals. Under a canopy of grapevines the ambience is very French. Food is beautifully cooked and presented. The service is friendly and helpful. In fact at approximately €15 per head for the set lunchtime menu it's a true bargain. We will most definitely return.
We ate here with our two children, 10 and 12. We had the set menu, 25 euros. This was soup, then choices for starter and mains. I had the fois gras which was good, followed by veal. Cheese and dessert followed. This was very good value. The children had a choice of burger or home made chicken nuggets which were... More
Lovely spot we found by accident after travelling from Toulouse to Chapdeuil. Set on the side of a road in the town and the seating area outside is covered by vines creating a lovely shaded area! The food was lovely, 5 courses for 24e. Great selection and all three of us were delighted! The Café Gourmand is the best I've... More
We visited on a busy day as the local flower festival was taking place in the village. The restaurant was full. The sun was shinning. It was 28C at the beginning of May. The staff were very attentive. The food was superb. The cost was reasonable. We love living here in the North Dordogne.
We ate here on Sunday and had a fabulous meal. The restaurant is run by a couple with her in the front and him being the chef. The 300 year old building has been wonderfully decorated and is very welcoming. For those who wish to dine outside, there is a patio shaded by ancient grape vines. The restaurant location is... More
We ate here three times during our fortnight's holiday nearby. For traditional local food it is a must and with a set dinner menu of 5 courses you need to pace yourself! First the soup, which is left for you on the table and is usually what is known in our household as GKW soup (because God knows what went... More
We ate outside on the terrace which was shaded by a series if grape vines. You either had a set lunch or a more expensive meal made up from the A La Carte menu. Wine and coffee was extra. House wine was very good. Mixture of local workmen and visitors.
