I can't say how authentic the food is but it's yummy! The dishes are well explained so you know what you're getting. The juices on the sweet side so not my ideal choice to accompany a meal - i would have preferred beer or wine which are not available- biut it's a nice option for those who do like them.... More

Kaxapa Factory was a great night. It was our last night in Playa and we decided to explore this neighborhood and have Venezuelan food. This place was terrific! The service was helpful and so friendly and the food was amazing. It is very gluten free friendly b/c most items are made with corn. We ordered one of everything and loved... More

Try the arepas and cachapas. The fresh juices are nice as well. Unlicensed (no booze). Good service.

This was our first time here… and although I had no idea what Venezuelan food was, the dishes were wonderful. The food was good value, but it was not our favourite meal on the trip. We enjoy trying new cuisine together, so I would recommend it if you haven’t experienced or tasted Venezuelan food before. For more reviews of playa... More

This place have the best typical food from Venezuela made impeccably! Even while I'm in Venezuela I miss this restaurant beacause it offers a mix of dishes from different regions in one place xD Favorite: Empanada de Pabellon.

This restaurant is a must for your visit to playa del carmen. It is just off the main tourist street. It is affordable with mouth watering food! My friends and I got the arepas with empanadas, we were not disappointed. We made two visits to eat here as it was purely amazing. Our waiters gave us the most incredible service... More

We had the Cachapa and the Pabellon Criollo, even though they are similar. In retrospect, we may have mixed it up more, but those two looked the most interesting. One is sweet and the other savory, so they are still different. We also got a chicken veggie empanada. Delicious, beautiful presentation, very friendly service. Great prices especially for the portion... More
