Our family of four just finished a wonderful meal here for around $40usd. In addition to our iced lattes, I had an amazingly delicious sandwich on a fresh baguette with boursin, bacon, lettuce, and pesto (it came with tomato too, but ick.). I will definitely be attempting to replicate it. My daughter got french toast and my son and husband... More

This place is bright, busy, happy, fun, a great spot to people watch and lovely place to sit outside, not too table crowded. Amazing food and well excited Artisan food (food snobs from Melbourne and we loved it). Good full flavors and amazing Caprese salad. Some staff were laughing and singing, always make the place happy and nice to be... More

we drove about 20 minutes every day during our stay at Playa Paraiso to have breakfast at Chez Celine.. that is how good it was. The place is busy, specially in the morning, but the wait it worth it! The food/pastries/drinks are delicious and super cheap!

On our recent 3 week visit to Playa we frequented this establishment the most (5 breakfasts, 4 afternoon coffee breaks). Their attention, service and food is outstanding. Everything is fresh and cooked as requested. There are a wide assortment of choices to suit everyone's taste. My husband enjoys omelettes while I am more of a yogurt and fresh fruit kind... More

Only place we could find that sells European (-like) bread. Where Mexicans mostly eat sweet bread, we Dutch people had trouble finding some bread that wasn't sweetened, and that'd taste fine with cheese or slices of meat. We stopped by a few times during our vacation to buy some bread to bring home to our apartment for breakfast the next... More

Try the banana nutella frappe - so refreshing and delicious! Sandwiches are unique and tasty, as well as the different salads. Service is great. Busy place in the morning so only tried lunch! Twice!

For coffee definitely, and breakfast and all sorts of delicious pastries, we keep going back to this charming cafe. You may have to wait but it's usually not more than a few minutes and definitely worth it. The breakfast meals are filling, the pastries are mouthwatering and always fresh. Great choice for just coffee and dessert or light meal. Seating... More

A French café with great food, reasonably priced. Small tables for two and large tables for eight in a shaded sidewalk on 5th Avenue. We had crepes, roast beef sandwiches, onion soup, apple tart and Celine Lemonade (lemonade with fresh ginger). The lemonade is refreshing; the service is fast and the inside pastry shop is astounding. It is several blocks... More
