We had a couple breakfast meals during our week in Playa here. The one we stayed with was the especial - a bit more but well worth it. The meal was delicious, the service excellent and it was the 1st restaurant open for us early risers. We recommend this for families, couples and groups. There is an excellent choice of... More

If you haven't been to Playa Del Carmen lately on 5th Ave you will be in for a surprise. This place has changed dramatically. Very gentrified and so many restaurants to choose from. The price has increased exponentially too! This restaurant seemed to be a good value and blended the traditional Mexican feel with tasty safe food. There are two... More

I ate there twice in the past week. The last time I looked more carefully at the check. It had a recommended tip, propina. I gave them my credit card and the receipt came with the recommended tip included not showing as the tip. There was a line through the box where the tip could be added. That made it... More

For a restaurant on the 5th avenue this one is one of the better ones! The price compared to quality and service was very very reasonoble.. Try the poppers! You wont regret it. The service was not included though and we had to pay additional 15% on top for that :-/

I was very pleased with our dinner at this restaurant. If you are new to visiting Mexico, or not able to speak even a bit of spanish, then this is a great place for your first night or two. The menu is completely in english, and the waiter's english is much better than my poor spanish. The setting is appropriately... More

We both had omelets and they were freshly prepared with fresh ingredients. The coffee, American Style, was very good, hot, and plentiful. Orange juice was freshly squeezed and also very good. Service was similarly very good. Overall, nothing was excellent but we were not looking for excellent. We got what we were looking for at a very fair price.

Have eaten breakfast at the th Ave around Calle 4 several times. The food is very good at a reasonable price. The service is excellent and as good as a five star place. The waiter GILMORE is as good a server as I have ever had anywhere. The guy is great and attentive, simply an excellent server. The staff works... More

Its on 5th ave. where all the action is. We one mediocre meal of fish but our other meals of chicken or burgers were quite good. Friendly waitstaff and reasonable prices for the area.
