Big menu and something for everyone at any time of the day. Lots of seats in the shade and big tables. A perfect place to bring a family and kids.

I had just finished a ceremony in the jungles of Sac Be and as I walked towards the boat/docks my mind was caught by some gentle Mexican Music. I turned and saw that a complete breakfast was available for 138 pesos. I was tired and exhausted, but I was also hungry. I was not disappointed. The orange juice was fresh... More

We were so excited to introduce our friends to The Vagabunda. We had been eating there for several years but Extremely disappointed tonight!!! We waited for almost an hour for service, we actually had to call the waiter and then the dinner we ordered was cold!! The worst meal we had in 20 years coming to Playa Del Carmen.

Our host Yorman took excellent care of us! We were greeted with such great smiles and service. Everyone was so attentive and even accommodated changes to the shrimp dish on the menu my husband ordered. I had the enchiladas with verde sauce that were amazing... not to mention the Margarita's!!!! Oh and the bathrooms were spotless which is a HUGE... More

Made our annual stop at La Vagabunda on 5th Ave while in Mexico. Enjoyed a bucket of beer and a plate of chicken nacho's for $15US. Can't go wrong with that for a change from your hotels buffet! We will be back next time we are in Mexico!

My wife and I ate here twice and really enjoyed the good food and service. This is a chill, low pressure environment with choices for everyone. I'd recommend starting with their guacamole and chips. Very tasty.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch because every time we passed by, it was always crowded. That's usually a good indication of word getting out and return visitors. To start they brought complimentary chips and salsas. My husband loved the red salsa, I really liked the green one that was avocado based and creamy. For entree, I had... More

My boyfriend and I were on an all inclusive vacation in Rivera Maya. We spent the day in Playa del Carmen and visited 5th Avenue. The food in our resort was really not great so we decided to have lunch at La Vagabunda and it saved our trip as being the only good food we had all week! The service... More
