We had an excellent time there. Arrived for one purpose and that was to taste Mezcals, and we got what we wanted. The place got crowded very quickly, live concert was on, but the service was still very good and attentive. Well done.

This place is definitely for a younger crowd, but if you can endure having very little personal space, it can be lots of fun for anyone. Good service, drinks and fun music. Tons of hipsters and posers, which makes it even more fun to be there and people watch.

A great, laid back bar where you can drink mezcal, beer, mezcal drinks and eat snacks while marveling at the hip scene as it unfolds around you from 10pm on Thursday through Sunday. While it opens about 8pm the crowds don't show up until 9:30 or 10pm when the music starts. Situated in a downtown Merida storefront the building has... More

The Fundaciòn is a beautiful bar with a wide and good variety of products, very affordable too. As kind of a hipster vibe decor wise. Service was allright, friendly Try to go on a night with a live band as the Dj's are sometimes a bit off. A must try nonetheless

The GF and I walked in late on a Saturday night for an after dinner drink. The place was definitely bouncing with locals, the music was tolerable (we could actually talk to one another), the drinks were fairly priced and the service was quick. I drank an Amores mezcal straight up with an orange slice and sal de gusano. My... More

La Fundacion is a hipsters bar. If hipsters had a checklist then it covers it all. The decoration, music and drinks are all focused to this kind of crowd. I loved it. Go late so that you can have a better experience and even meet some cool kids. Drink mezcal shots and celebrate your vacations.

Great place for music and Mezcal. They frequently have live music and on other nights DJs. The menu features a lot of interesting local stuff, chapulines and more.

Get the house mezcal shot and a beer... Sit down... Then find a lovely partner to salsa dance your heart away all night! Love the live music and overall vibe, mostly locals with some tourists mixed in!
