The food is DELICIOUS and super cheap. Highly recommend the tostadas de pulpo...tastes like something you'd order in an upscale place.

We searched out this restaurant because of the great reviews, I guess this was before the latest bunch of poor reviews. Turns out it was within minutes of our hotel, bonus. Spanish menu was an issue, but hey, we're in Mexico so we did the...More

Went to this place bc of the reviews. Had the large ceviche mixto. The taste was good but the freshness could be better.. Their prices are not that much cheaper than moderately priced restaurants in Merida. For example, the ceviche at Apoala is of much...More

Heard great things about Marlin Azul. None of it was true. Lousy service and equally bad shrimp. Marlin Azul = avoid.

Cute little hole in the wall that has become our go- to lunch place in Merida. Really delicious shrimp ceviche plus the mixed ceviche. Breaded fish, however, is our favorite. Sweet large portion of white fish almost panko fried, Japanese style. Very reasonable and also...More

Had the shrimp ceviche. It was very good. Perfect lighter lunch to beat the heat, especially when paired with a cold beer. Liked it so much we went back and had it again the next day. Prices are low and most of the clientele were...More

If you are in the neighborhood and want an inexpensive but fresh seafood lunch, this place is fine. We enjoyed the ceviche.

You cannot get fresher fish than this unless you catch it and eat it on the boat. Great ceviche, espceally the octopus in it's own ink.

All these bar style restaurant cafes are open Monday to Saturday lunchtime only. I did notice that it was still open a 6pm on my visit but do not expect them to open much later than that.
