Stumbled upon this restaurant in Casa San Angel at bottom of Paseo Montejo. Nothing especially distinctive about the decor but the enchiladas with green sauce I ordered were excellent. My husband had chicken in chocolate mole - he liked it but I thought it had a chalky taste. Very small selection of beers. After, went into tiny shop with handicrafts... More

Even if you did not eat there, the room at the Casa San Angel is charming and beautiful. Next...have breakfast. We enjoyed fresh orange juice, coffee, huevos divorciados, and pan frances. All were delicious and the service was impeccable. We will be repeat customers!

I have not stayed at Casa San Angel, but I stayed in the neighborhood recently and had breakfast twice and got carry out twice. Great breads, muffins, croissants and a nice selection of breakfasts -- continental, Mexican, and American (waffles & omelets).

Enjoyed Mexican Night at the outside dining. great service by the young waiter! Good food, not wow - but solid offerings. Don't forget to order the coffee.

Located in the Casa San Angel hotel, this restaurant is my favorite breakfast/brunch spot in Centro. Well-trained staff serve a variety of choices from the simple omelet to more regional specialities. Beautifully decorated with indoor or outdoor seating. Octavio is our favorite waiter and seamlessly switched from Spanish to English.

We stayed at the hotel in the past and ate several times at the restaurant, but this was the first time that we purchased bakery items. Though we weren't staying in the hotel this time, we wandered in on Good Friday afternoon when all other restaurants were closed. Though they were shutting down, the chef insisted on cooking for us.... More

Have been at San Angel, several times, is far better for breakfast than lunch. Small and cozy, great food and amazing bakery. Decent prices, the decor has great taste and besides the restaurant is a shop for genuine high quality mexican handcrafts (pricey but worth it). Highly recommended for breakfasy with a small group. We miss the duet that sang... More
