If you're looking for the place that will make you feel like a Travel & Leisure or Afar writer, you've come to the right place. We began our evening on the rooftop bar which offers incredible ambiance with a great view of the surrounding area. One of their signature cocktails, a chocolate martini was like dessert in a glass while... More

This is a boutique hotel. Every room is different and beautiful. The restaurant is one of the best in Merida.

We were here for breakfast and were very disappointed. The only nice / smiling person was the guy at the hotel's front desk...from there on not one other waiter would even say good morning when we entered the restaurant or seemed to notice our table until after about a 10 min wait, someone in our party got up and went... Lovely and interestingly renovated and decorated older building which also has hotel rooms and a spa. Beautiful dinner, I had the spinach salad with salmon which was terrific! Followed by the brisket that was cooked perfectly. Tasty and tender with a lovely glaze. My friends had the octopus appetizer which she said was excellent followed by the fettuccine which she... We stopped at Rosas & Xocolate for lunch after I had read the reviews and we were not disappointed. It was delicious, the best part of it being the dessert. Make sure not to skip dessert, the best I had in a long time. Service was very attentive and friendly. Can highly recommend the place

Attendund a friends 70th burthday here on the rooftop terrace at night. It's a very magical spot looking down at the passing people and traffic of Avenida Montejo. The hors d'oeuvres were wonderful. On the downside, this appears to only be accessible by way of the spiral staircase unless I was mistaken.

It took us 15 minutes for a waiter to show up at our table. Eventually we got two glasses of white wine poured in a large, red wine glass with a tiny pour of wine! Some simple toasted pieces of bread with a good olive oil dip was served. The salad that eventually came was good but the pork turned... More

We had the salpicón de paro which was OK. The chicharrón de pulpo was really poorly prepared. The duck breast had nice flavors but was like chewing gum. We left the chicharrón and part of the duck dish. Nobody had the ides to check with us what was wrong with these dishes. The vanilla ice cream was very good as... More
