Seriously. See the photos of this Margarita.Small place on the main drag. They could use a little more help covering the tables. Server was great. Just need to have a couple more of him. He even helped a couple across the street and got a taxi for us and had him wait while we wrapped up. Now that's service. The... More

On our first day trip to Cozumel we had a blast waiting out a storm at The Thirsty Cougar. While the our second visit wasn't quite as memorable, we still enjoyed good drinks, service, and people watching.

My friend and I stopped in here while shopping from our cruise ship. We started and ended our time in Cozumel here! Carlos was fabulous and we enjoyed our food and drink and friendly atmosphere. I bought several pieces of Mexican glassware here - could not find any other place on island! Sombreros off to The Thirsty Cougar!

After an hour of tourist trap shop visits, I hesitantly accepted the idea of grabbing a bite to eat and an adult refreshment. This place is on the main drag, with a few wood chairs set up just outside of a nice wooden bar. Their mile-high margarita was fantastic and the shrimp tacos were world-class. Just what a tired tourist... More

Sure it is a tourist bar right on the strip but the bartenders are all very freindly and seem to enjoy their jobs. I think the food is really good and usually get blackened fish tacos "with copy" more then once a trip.

The frozen drinks are massive and pretty cheap. Pick a flavor (or mix two) and a liquor (vodka, rum, tequila), and the frozen drink arrives on a child's plastic dinner plate (I had Tinkerbell). As it melts over the sides of the margarita glass, the plate catches the liquid. We had two couples and had a great time. Also ordered... More

What more can I say? They were the best fish tacos we had on our trip! They were apparently grouper, and perfectly seasoned, with guacamole and a choice of sauce on what appeared to be freshly made tortillas. We also shared the fish platter that was also grouper, fresh, simple and very, very good. The rice, however, was a little... More

If you can beat your way threw the thousands of cologne drenched black pant white shirt men that want you to shop their store and make it to the Thirsty Cougar than you will find one of the best dam lunches Cozumel has to offer. Manuel our server got us a prime table on the sidewalk and was quick to... More
