I have been to La Habichuela over the years. It is still exactly the same, and that's good. Well maintained, beautiful inside and out. The staff is exceptional. Ascension was our server, and he was wonderful! The food is outstanding, though their menus need to be improved; I am fluent in both Spanish and English, and the translations to English... More

We have meant to visit for a while now and so arrived with anticipation of seeing the " real" Mexico. In fact we chose Downtown as opposed to Sunset for this reason. The garden is pretty but we ended up inside due to the humidity. It wasn't much better indoors and there were elderly floor fans being used. The place... More

Went here on my last night in Cancun with a local friend. It was recommended by my Airbnb host and it was a great recommendation! Very near Palapas Park, the restaurant is cozy and welcoming with a beautiful outdoor garden, friendly waitstaff and delicious food! I suppose it would be considered pricey for Mexico but it was about $25-30USD per... More

Cool service and great atmosphere. Variety in dishes is also at good level. Little bit hard to find the place, though. But easy to catch your attention once You navigated the streets.

I love this restaurant, so much that we ate here two times on our trip. The food is incredible and at such a great value, the service is incredible and the restaurant is so adorable. I recommend the surf and turf or the curry lobster that comes in a big coconut.

Awesome restaurant. Garden setting. Elias and Enrique aka Keke were awesome. Very attentive. The food was super good. Kalmari was great! Lobster came with 3 butter sauces Yum. Bread basket was a real treat. My mom had the soft shell crab tacos. She was very, very happy. Would come again. It's pricey but it was an experience.

Kiki and Elias guided through an excellent meal. The crab tacos were divine, the calamari and clam chowder were superb, and my stuffed grouper was very tasty. My wife liked the unusual lobster bisque, as well. Great ambience, great cuisine!

On a quiet Tuesday night I was a tad skeptical as we pulled up through a tiny tiny street through a local street carnival. As we walked inside through a colorful but unassuming door, the staff was immediately friendly and interactive with our children- and very helpful with our infant's stroller and multiple stairs. The wood decor inside gave way... More
