Lovely quaint restaurant in downtown Cancun with delicious drinks and food. The Cocobichuela which is served in a coconut and consists of curried lobster and shrimp, rice, roast pineapple and banana is their specialty dish and worth going for as it's really delicious. We got there at around 1pm for lunch time and there were very few people there but... More

We had the restaurant for ourselves, because we came in early. We followed the waiter`s recommendations and we did not regret. We got their famous soup for dessert and the fish of today for main course. They are one of few restaurants who have flan, a tasty caramel pudding like dessert which I strongly recommend. It`s not a budget restaurant,... More

La Habichuela has been on downtown Cancun since 1977; they have mantained the local flavor of foods while adapting to demanding customers. We went on a Sunday lunch, and there were very few customers, didnt have to wait for a table and service was very good. Food, as always, sea food with yucatecan touch, very good

I went 4 times during my 2 weeks in Mexico, my husband is very picky and he loved it, the service, quality and taste of the food is on point. Definitely a must visit, if I would have known about this restaurant last year when I went I would have gone then too, so glad my friend recommended it.

We stopped here by coincidence and it was a delight. The ambiance at night on the outdoor seating is absolutely magical, the service was great. The Food was fantastic!!! Our server Brian was a highlight for us. He was helpful, he even let my little daughter help with the preparation of the table side Caesar Salad by getting her involved.... More

Atmosphere and service can't be beat. A gem in an otherwise bit challenged part of town, but worth trip. Easy bus ride to and from the hotel strip...less than a buck round trip, using the Tulum Avenue route. Security everywhere and there was a carnival and fair in the park near the restaurant. Lobster bisque was flavorful and a large... More

Love the "New Orleans style" court yard to eat in. The bread basket is delicious. The menu is okay, we wish they had specials to give us more variety.

This place is over rated. We were there for over 2 hours. I had the lobster Thermidor - good, not great. We asked for a wine list and the waiter returned with a mixed drink list. He was pushing mixed drinks - he said to us "well people here typically like a mixed drink before wine". We did get wine,... More
