The most exclusive restaurant in Cancun since its inauguration in 2004. Informal but elegant atmosphere, that with soft music invites you to enjoy good food, the best service and warm Caribbean atmosphere of Cancun, which attracts millions of tourists from all over the world. For our menu we have selected the best meat, fish, seafood and lobster (Maine), imported from different parts of the world and carefully prepared with highest quality standards and cooked in our exclusive Charcoal Grill and let yourself be surprised by enjoying your food with a great selection of excellent Argentinean wines or from any part of the world that we have selected especially for you. A privileged place where
Excellent food and atmosphere. Manuel was a fantastic server. We had the Madero salad, the best dressing I’ve ever had. Then lobster bisque and clam chowder which were also very good. Too full to order the Lobster we wanted.
Back in Cancun and one of the first restaurants we visited is Puerto Madero. We sat in their “outside” dining area as the sun was setting which I can not describe the beauty. Jose and Miguel started us with our favorite beverages table side- nice...touch. We started with Marlin Carpaccio and a Caesar salad prepared table side. Both were perfect. My wife’s entree was a tuna and lobster roll which is a super shashimi treat. I had the grilled lobster with mashed potatoes - OMG great tasting... Thank you to the servers.More
This was a fantastic restaurant in both food and atmosphere. The surf 'n' turf was great with Maine lobster tail and an Australian filet. Without a doubt, this was the best meal we had all week in Cancun. Sadly, no meal at our All Inclusive...resort even came close to this.More
This is a staple on our trip to Cancun each time. This time we got to sit up a little higher than most the others and that was a neat experience. We made reservations and we felt like we were kind of secluded from the...others which was really cool. The food, staff and whole restaurant were really neat.More
I brought my family here for my mother’s 60th birthday. After seeing reviews I thought this would be a great place. Boy was this a train wreck of a place.
To begin, I reserved an outdoor water side table and was brought to a round...table in the middle of the dining room. After some back and forth they finally moved us to the table I had requested a month ago.
When we sat down we were immediately bombarded by 3 bartender/servers peddling “fancy” cocktails. This was seconds after sitting down and before we had a chance to look at the menu. We settled on a bottle of wine.
We began the process of ordering and while doing so I made it very clear to our server that my girlfriend was very allergic to mushrooms. He was confident our order was good and we had nothing to worry about.
The first course of empanadas and sausages came and were mediocre. All very over salted and fairly dry. Followed by a second course of “Argentine Salad” which was a sad display of Romain lettuce topped with overcooked shrimp and mayonnaise. Followed by an order of 2 clam chowders and a seafood tomato soup.
This is where things got really bad. Firstly, and less importantly the seafood soup was horribly over salted. Then, my girlfriend began enjoying her clam chowder and felt a tickle in her throat, and slowly picked up her spoon to discover mushrooms that had been julienned. Coming from Boston, I do know a thing or two about clam chowder and I will say that mushrooms don’t belong in chowder.
The restaurant manager came up and immediately tried to start bargaining for the situation. Even trying to say that “there weren’t THAT many mushrooms in the soup”. The only thing that stopped me from going off on the guy was the fact my girlfriends throat was closing up.
Generally in a situation like this I would expect a manager to clear the bill and apologize. None the less. This wasn’t done here. We cancelled our main courses. Asked for the bill (which the only thing adjusted was the one soup) and left.
If you want what is a sad excuse of an attempt at Argentinian cuisine, with over salted food, this is the place for you. Otherwise, stay away. Far away.More
Absolutely delicious. Hands down our favorite restaurant all trip. My boyfriend loves fish and said the grouper he had was the best he has EVER had. The view and dessert also did not disappoint. Great way to celebrate a special occasion while on vacation.
