Went back to Les Cepages after two years and the food and service were impeccable. We had the whole restaurant to ourself and it felt like having our own personal chef, and waitress. Chef Sal honestly should consider applying for a Michelin star. Salmon gravlax,...fois gras, cheese soufflé, onion soup, scallops, filet, shrimp, lamb chops and chocolate soufflés were outstanding. The brown sauce for the lamb chop was infused with mint which was a brilliant idea. Our waitress Alexandra was friendly, and attentive. The salmon gravlax and cheese soufflé stood out as appetizers. The wine list was small but very well selected. We went with a Malbec from Mexico Casa Madero and it complemented our meal perfectly. We highly recommend this excellent French restaurant downtown Cancun and it was one of the best meals while in Cancun for 2 weeks.More

I was a bit concerned while arrived this restaurant, it was a easy to missed place in a small shopping mall and no other guests at that time. However the service was great, friendly and made us very comfortable. The food as others said is...top notch, reasonable priced. This trip to Cancun on June/2021, we tried several restaurants on and off hotel strip, such as Fred's, Chianti, Tora, Divine Carne, Les Cepages, Porfirio's. Overall impression is the restaurants at strip is fancier with better decoration but much more expensive, at end the two off strip (Divine Carne and Les Cepages) are our favorite. For that reason you need to rent a car, and our experience with Yes Rent a Car was very pleasant and satisfactory.More

Exceptional restaurant as always, the dishes are a work of art created by the chef, Sal. We missed being here last year and ended up eating twice during our stay in Cancun. Les Cepages rivals any French restaurants anywhere. One of us is now a...vegetarian and the menu offers several choices. My husband said the Osso Bucco was the best he has ever had. Don’t miss this gem while in CancunMore

Les Cepages should be in the top 10! We travel to Cancun annually and never miss a chance to visit. Chef Sal is truly gifted and Alexandra is an outstanding server. Our second visit is tonight and Chef is making us a special order of...coq au vin. The soup de jour is always excellent, the salad choices are lovely. Our favorites are duck, quail, Brie salad, cream of anything soup, filet and the chocolate soufflé.More

Yesterday we had the pleasure of dining at LesCepages with Chef Sal. The chef and Alexandra pay attention to every detail and are most welcoming. They try their best to only book one or two tables at a time so they focus entirely on those...guests and attend to every detail. If you are looking for a safe place to dine during this covid time this is the restaurant for you because there is NO crowding what so ever. They take every precaution. My husband had the filet that was center cut, a generous portion and cooked to perfection with side veggies, I had the rack of lamb and it also was cooked perfectly and there was so much I couldn't finish it so we took it home for lunch today. We had creme broulee for dessert with cafe American style. Delicious! Chef Sal trained in France so he does authentic French cooking. Besides being a great chef he has a very warm and welcoming personality and speaks perfect English. We went to Paris before covid and had the pleasure of dining at several 4 star restaurants and none were as good and enjoyable as LesCepages. Chef Sal personally welcomes you and explains the specials of the day and is happy to prepare anything you want. He shops for the freshest ingredients each morning to prepare the best food for his guests and is an artist with the presentation of the food, Generally once you have this personal dining experience you will want to return for another, it's that good. They schedule dinner guests carefully so it's a private dining experience without crowds of people. Located near downtown Cancun so it's off the beaten path but just a short bus or cab ride from the Royal Cancun Resort or hotel zone. The atmosphere is upscale and contemporary with linen tablecloths The reasonable cost of the dinner offsets the cab fare so don't let the distance keep you from going for this wonderful dining experience. Call a schedule a dinner, you won't be sorry it's a memorable experience.More

This is one of the finest restaurants in Cancun. We visit every year on our annual vacation since it has opened. The personal attention from Chef Sal can't be measured. His love of food translates into each dish which is prepared with great attention to...detail. His food is ART. The restaurant is absolutely lovely and you can actually enjoy conversation with friends without blasting techno-music like you are subjected to at so many of the hotel zone restaurants. My food allergies are no problem for Chef Sal and believe me that other restaurants are not so accomodating. Location is in an unassuming strip mall in the city so take a taxi. JUST GO!More

This unassuming little place in a strip mall is a GEM! With only a handful of tables, you get excellent service from the attentive server and Chef Sal greets everyone personally with his recommendations. We shared the citrus salad, and foie gras torchon; my husband...had the filet mignon and I had the duck. All the food was excellent, and they attended thoughtfully to my allergies (nuts and shellfish). My parents have dined here for years, and my late father adored it. I see why now; you CANNOT go wrong with a visit to Les Cepages.More
