Excellent seafood with excellent service. Our waiter, and please forgive me, “Denny” or “Danny”, spoke excellent English, tolerated my butchering of the “Spanish” language, and helped us in our dinner selection. The lobster and fish dishes were magnificent and although you could use a credit card or US dollar, we paid in MX Peso. No problemo!

The food is delicious here. Had the seafood linguini and it was not at all heavy, light creamy and the fish was absolutely fresh and tasty. You will also be given a basket of warm bread and cheesy sticks with butter, delicious too. Had the Rockerfeller oysters and the mussels, all divine. The staff are also very friendly, attentive but not intrusive. We had dessert one night, the chocolate loto which was enough to share between two. The price was certainly reasonable, $40 for a drink and one course but sitting outside watching the sunset was magical. Definitely recommend and visited three times in 10 days.

Our first night visit was on a Saturday when they had a great three piece band playing a large variety of songs. The volume was perfect where we could not only enjoy the music but also converse with each other easily. The food was excellent. A little pricey but well worth it! The service was exceptional. We enjoyed our dinner so much that we went back the next Tuesday. Our servers were Dany & Manu who took great care of us.Our drinks were always full and table always cleared when we finished. Don't fail to have dessert. The chocolate volcano completed the experience.

We are staying at the Marriott across the street and went to this restaurant last night (Thursday) for dinner, service is very attentive and fantastic, the patio is nicely decorated and the views of the lagoon are spectacular. They appear to take good care of COVID with all staff wearing masks and hand sanitizer dispensers everywhere. They had a live band and they were pretty good. We ordered Shrip Garlic (gambas al ajillo) and they were overcooked (burned) while the rice that comes with it was undercooked (hard). We also ordered Mussels Linguini and it was the worst dish i have had in years, the pasta was hard the white broth was plain dirty water, no flavor... how can you screw up a pasta dish? well this chef/cook did. We ordered 3 different wines (savignon blancs) from the menu and they didn't have ANY of them so we ended up having to have a bottle of whatever they had (Pinot Grigio). At the end of the day, even if the service is good, you go to a restaurant to eat and if the food it bad it is not worth it - the 3 things we ordered + tip (shrimp, pasta, wine) came up to over $110 USD

The food is horrendous! Rubbery shrimp and calamari. Mussels were okay but nothing special. Seafood paella is almost inedible. The pork was so over cooked I thought I would chip a tooth. Zero flavor! You have to peel your own shrimp, but they don't provide anything to clean your hands like any decent seafood restaurant would. The bread was best part of meal. We were never asked how our meal was by anyone. Probably because they know the food is terrible. The waiters are friendly. We sat inside upstairs. I have never been so hot in my life! It was brutal and after complaining about the heat nothing was ever done. The manager downstairs has the worst customer service skills I've seen and I have traveled.the world. Outside of cleaning your table when you arrive the Covid protocols are seriously lacking. Utensils hanging out of a damp napkin touched by waiters. If I get Covid I will know exactly where I caught it and that's at Crab House. So overpriced for the slop they serve. Run, don't walk, and go next door to Fred's House for a great meal and a restaurant that makes you feel safe during a global pandemic!!!

We were in a company of more than 10 people, so the waiters were dexterous when serving us. Thanks a lot for the attention you pay to each costumer. Unfortunately, the cocks let us down. Tuna is a local fish which is expected to be fresh, particularly, when it comes to tartar and carpaccio, but it was pale and bland. Messy pieces of avocado without any seasoning haven’t provided the meal with the special taste. And there was not even a teaspoon of soy sauce. As for mussels...Guys, just boil them in a white wine and season it well herbs and garlic. This red broth is of no use. Shrimps with crab rolled in bacon are actually not everybody’s cup of tea. If you like when it’s “too much” and the taste of a primary product is obscured, that‘s the best option for you. Octopus is rubber. We didn’t order lobsters, but as they must be prepared alive, they could be much tastier than what we ate. Only tips worth the money, but not food.

My wife and I went to the Crab House on the recommendation of our hotel's concierge. I was a little concerned because I couldn't find prices on the menu when I looked and it was rated as $$$$, but off we went. There isn't a lot of parking that's obvious from the road, but no worries... there was a free valet service that took care of parking for us. We entered the restaurant and were led to their outdoor seating on the rear deck. Beautiful. We ordered lobster tacos and crab cangrejillas for appetizers, the Crab House shrimp and Crab House salmon for entrees, followed by coffee and their molten lava cake for dessert. I can't describe how amazing all the food was. As good as the food was, it was equally matched by the service and we watched a beautiful sunset while we ate. Our final bill came to about $100USD (with a 20% tip) so the pricing is really reasonable for the food and dining experience. We will definitely come back the next time we're in Cancun.

The food here was delicious and portions were plentiful. The seafood was fresh and cooked as desired. The atmosphere was comfortable with an upscale feel. The cost overall was moderate to high, but so worth the experience and the quality of the food was premium . The service provided by Juan and Manuel was very good. They were attentive and accommodating. I had the grilled scallops and they were offered with several options. I chose them grilled with garlic and I enjoyed every forkful. The drinks were a bit weak. Overall, this is a top quality restaurant that I would recommend and would certainly return. It was among an all time favorite.

My wife and I at there last night. It was average at best. We had king crab legs which were amazing. The carbonara was ok but the chowder was over salted, and the crab guacamole was way too fishy. I appreciate good service but there is a fine line between hovering over people and constantly bothering them. They errored too much on constantly touching our plates and moving things around. We felt awkward the whole time because so many people were watching over us. Some people like this. We do not. I think their reviews are over-inflated because they actively request people to write a review. I don’t hate the place and the people are nice but we won’t be returning. There are better choices in Cancun.

So we are JW Marriott loyalists. And we missed this trip last year and we all know why. So this trip we decided to walk across the street and hit the crab house. Well the ceviche was very good and that is the 2 rating. There isn’t bad ceviche anywhere around here though. but, at 125$ a pound let’s skip the crab legs. They try to throw a big plate of all the seafood they have but is all a farce to get you to spend money. The paella was a rice pan dish and the calamari was like fake food. Rubber bands. The Australian making the cocktails off the cart was entertaining and he made a good cocktail. But here is what it is like inside. It’s like your in a restaurant that the drug cartel owns. Every 5 seconds some staff is walking right by your table. They have them posted at every break up against the wall. It’s weird. They look upset as well Then the fake hostess lady kept coming up to us. “ Have they cleaned your table yet?” “Is there a problem?” They want you in and out of there. The cartel has told them don’t let the guests stay too long. We need to keep rotating people. We need to make up for lost revenues. For average food and a view of some snorkel boats you can find much better places then this establishment. And you won’t feel nervous. Not a smile on a persons face.

like I said in the title the food is really good and they will make the crabs anyway you like. Really good service and the view is really nice too. But the food is kind of expensive. I just feel when you pay so much for crab legs it should be enough to fill your stomach. we spent 240$ for 2 people no alcoholic drinks only water and left still hungry. maybe if we spent 100$ more we could have filled up. we ordered 2 Alaskan crab dishes, one stone crab dish to share and a octopus plate, all very delicious, but we were left with hunger. maybe if you can decide which crab legs you want and pay extra if they are bigger. the take what you get crabs were small for Alaskan. i still recommend this place.

The waiter wouldnt give us a price range of our food that was "market price" before we ordered. The music was too loud to enjoy a meal and talk with my partner. My partner was forced to write a good review about the place by Gabriel Y Daniel before he would hand us our bill. We had to pay $336 USD for 2lb of crab legs 2 beers and 1 soda, a meal which we didnt even like. Although it is a fancy place, it was not good food and didnt have a great view compared to a lot of other places. The waiters also always seemed in a rush. I feel they charged us more for being Americans on a date. We could have had a way nicer meal for 10x cheaper back at home. So disappointed and upset.

Brilliant food, atmosphere and service. Erubey and Hector took really good care of our family. We even got to see a crocodile on the edge of the lagoon! The Alaskan crab leg was amazing, the oysters were super fresh and the serving of soft shell crab was succulent and generous. A wonderful restaurant.

This is a must go place if you are in Cancun. I have never experienced this level of service at the place. We had 3 waiters serving our table and we always had our glasses full and empty dishes removed. They also kindly offered to take our pictures.
