We visit this place on Sunday when many restaurants were closed. Ambient is a little boring but food was very good. Never else I have a chance to eat shrimps in fish meat ball. Recommend.

When I was at Campeche I had several meals, everything is ok, taste is good, really cheap if you are from USA, Canada or Europe; service is somehow slow but they try to do their best.

Open 24 hours. Nothing special. International or Mexican food. Overrated. I don't know why this place is in lonely planet and other travel guides recommended! We had burgers with fries. Not worth the money.

This 24/7 restaurant has good local food as well as attentive service. Try pan de cazon, a Campeche specialty, served with delicious warm flat bread. The waiter even warned me to take it easy on the habanero chile on top, which I moved to a side plate and added in small increments to about every third bite. Yummy and huge... More

We had wonderful food, great service in a quaint location. Personally, I enjoyed the grilled prawns in garlic. Had to take the shell off myself, but the good thing about that was that I would get to lick my fingers afterwards. Scrumptious!

We stopped in here several times for a light lunch or drink and snack. The place was always reasonably busy but not quire full. I think most the time we were the only tourists in the place. I heartily recommend the Panuchos for a snack. These were nicely and lightly fried so they were crisp around the edges. They were... More

We ate here twice, the food is good value for the money, authenticate, and the staff is very friendly. The only negative comments I read about this restaurant were obviously from Tourists and not Travelers. Hey guys, this is an authentic Mexican restaurant in Mexico. This is not Senior Frog in Puerto Vallarta. If you don't know the difference between... More

La Parroquia is a 24-hour restaurant frequented by locals. We went for breakfast one morning and were lucky enough to snag the last empty table. When the tables are full, people hang around outside until one opens up. This is not a place to go for a leisurely meal, but it was the perfect place for us to get a... More

Ate there because it was central and mentioned in the lonely planet. Our waiter brought us the food and took our place without talking one word to us. Had "local food", but it was just not as good as fresh made from the local street merchants. Would not recommend it.
