This is by far our favorite restaurant in Veracruz - a real foodie place with innovative dishes. The place itself is beautiful, in a large space that looks like an old barn. It is about 17 minutes of walk from the Emporio hotel.

The service was perfect. Very good food and the venue, being located in a house in the middle of a neighborhood area provides a very pleasant atmosphere, specially at night

In Veracruz you always taste the un-tastable. Crossing the threshold, in this place, transports you to an atmosphere of a New Orleans barrio. The Menu is creative and the seasoning is amazing. As an entree a quezadilla with a cup of beens to scoop; following a seafood Pozole. ¡Delicious! The menu of wines is vast as well as the dessert... More

Went there with friends before a half -marathon (carb loading). The cheese and Mango pizza was marvelous, also tried the pizza with frijoles (black beans). Tasty ceviche and seafood carpaccio. Desserts were very good. The mojito was so-so. A very small and cozy old house with prompt and courteous service. Don't miss it!

Very nice small place in Veracruz for a nice dinner. We visited while on business and were surprised by the care put to the details from the decoration to the dishes and service. I would recommend it if you are visiting Veracruz

Fussion praises itself on revisiting classic Mexican food with a contemporary twist. Not so original a stake but why not. Recipes look quite appetizing on the menu but the result is not satisfying enough. For instance, the speciality (salmon in a pistachio crust) was over-cooked (even burnt on the top), dry, very salty and tasteless. A bit of a disappointment.... More

I have never heard of salmon with pistachios and almonds on top of mango chutney or Mexican Oxaca cheese with tamarind. Decoration was interesting in the positive meaning of the word. Service was great. My detailed experience and pictures here: http://jesusrosas.com/blog-travel-and-photography/2015/03/17/my-favorite-and-not-so-favorite-restaurants-in-veracruz/

I can say that this is one of the best restaurants I have ever been in Mexico, at Veracruz there were no many options to have a nice dinner and this weekend I went to 2 of the best places in Veracruz. The first one is Fussion, with a great menu of "Modern Mexican Cuisine", what in Mexico we know... More

Fussion was an unexpected dining pleasure in a surprising setting. A room looks like like you are in a farm house anywhere but Mexico. The food is tasty, varied and makes you want to come back. Again and again

Wow! We happened upon this gem by accident, but what a find. The food is absolutely exquisite and the decor is completely unique. Far above the very average restaurant scene in this port city. Slightly more expensive, but worth it! My only suggestion would be to expand/diversify the wine list.
