Have been in Oxaca for almost two weeks now an this is my favorite economical restaurant in el centro. Very clean, friendly waiters, and great food. The comida del dia is 60p and includes soup or salad, bread, a choice of 5 main dishes, desert and agua Fresca. Everything is tasty. Highly recommended giving it a try.
The comida corrida options at Santo Sabor are a bargain at 60 pesos for a pitcher of the Agua of the day, a beginning soup or salad, and several entrees to choose from. Plus desert! Pozole was good as well as child relleno.
I arrived at Santo Sabor for the comida corrida lunch for $60 pesos. It's a cute little open air courtyard restaurant. I was greeted and told that the food wouldn't be ready for 20 minutes. I decided to wait and was given a glass of refreshing water with mint and lemon and a basket of bread and butter. I was... More
...and still liked it. They serve a very good comida corrida for 60 pesos, which includes an appetizer, main dish, and dessert, together with bread and fruited water. Food is good, service is excellent, ambience is pleasant. We count this as one of our "go-to" places!
The menu of the day at 60 pesos is a good value and has a number of choices. I don' think they offer alcoholic drinks.

It is a cheerful space with a couple of rooms to sit in.Tony usually serves you and he has a printed menu he explains to you. There is a carafe of flavorful water. REAL bread. Then there are choices of salad or soup, and... More

I visited Santo Sabor on the recommendation of other diners and wasn't disappointed. I particularly enjoyed the daily vegetarian option which the day I visited was a tasty stuffed potato. My fellow... More
The comida corrida is inexpensive and tasty. Stuffede chile is good and I have forgotten the Mexican name, but a meat loaf. Nothing super special, basic.
