While the place looks quite simple, the food is amazing, try the cocktails they will surprise you. If you visit Oaxaca, this is a must.

We came here for an early dinner (by mexican standards) after driving from Puebla. Nice place with many mezcales to choose from, and a willingness to let you try small samples of each to make up your mind. Of course, to the uninitiated it is...More

These restaurant is a good balance between modern and traditional ITSMO cuisine, has a nice environment, good cocktail and a little pricy mezcales menu for my taste. But in general is a must of oaxaca city.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local chef with whom we had a cooking class. The food comes from a region of Mexico with which I was not familiar, so there was not much on the menu that i knew. However, everything I...More

Oh, i don't know. But worth calling or emailing them to ask. If not, maybe call their hotel to see if they can arrange something special.

I ate at many of the restaurants listed in trip advisor over an 8 day period in Oaxaca. Decided to try this place because it was always crowded with the mixture of Mexican and non Mexican tourists. The food was from the isthmus of Mexico. Authenic but different than the usual Oaxacan cuisine which became repetitious after a while. The food was different, with a lot of " I wonder how they make this sauce, dip, drink?" It was not fusion gitzy food that a lot of the higher rated restaurants on your trip advisor restaurant list present to the tourists.
