I took the tasting of moles and was perfect! Starter were stuffed pumpkin flowers. Very tasty! Views are nice and so is the staff. They tend to close early as I was denied at 2100 hrs the day before.
Located right in front of the zocalo, we had a mole, black beans and cheese tlayuda. Also, the quesadillas with pumpkin blossom were delicious.

La Casa de la Abuela has been on the Zocalo for many years. It's upstairs. Be sure to ask for tables which overlook the Zocalo or the adjacent plaza by the cathedral. The food is traditional Oaxaca, nothing modern here, but good.
