We stopped at Tori Tori in Polanco for lunch. We'd read good things about this place on some blogs. The service was fine. The waiters were very nice and helpful. I found the atmosphere at the location we went too rather dark and disappointing. Evidently they have several locations. We must have been at this one because were were in... More

Nice ambiance, specially at the terrace. Service was fair, but it is just away too expensive. Dinner for 3 plus 5 drinks over 300usd. Like the place but not sure if I will go back.

This is one of those fancy places where service is good, atmosphere is right, but the food itself (the core of a restaurant, in my opinion) stays at "ok". Nothing really wow'ed me about the food.... and in that sense, I left the place feeling that I paid more than it was worth.

I went with a group to the Temistocles branch. The experience begins as soon as you go past a fairly inconspicuous door with no real sign on it. The setting is beautiful, the architecture amazing which sometimes makes you wonder if they've put as much effort into the food. But in this case they have. The fish is incredible! The... More

We live in Mexico and I consider this place the top Japanese restaurant in Mexico City. Today we had to run to pick up our kids so we craved for sushi and decided to have a quick lunch, so we decided to go to this top quality and top decor place hidden in Polanco. As always, we ordered spicy tuna... More

I am still surprised that this restaurant was made with a lot of modern design and has average food. We ordered some sushi to share and it was ok , nothing you would crave for or tasted before and then a Tepanyaki with overcooked mear and very dry even if i asked medium cook. My friend ordered some salmon and... More

You cannot go wrong selecting Tori Tori for beverages and a meal with that special someone... The staff accommodating... we ate and drank until well after closing hours and the staff simply went about other closing duties before politely asking us to close out our bill. Thumbs up!!!

Tori Tori at Temistocles is a trendy place, located in the Polando area, it is highly frequented by tourists, businessmen and fashion locals. The venue is great, and so is the ambiance and food. Stick to nigiris and sashimis, not so crazy about Shabu Shabu in this restaurant. They have a great sake cellar. Perfect place for a weekend gathering.

We went as a group of business colleagues. Walking into that living wall is fun in itself. Something out of the secret garden. And then the interior is just as cool. It is not a small space but cleverly split up into discrete sections which make it feel more intimate. The food was very good, although we didn't have any... More

The setting is beautiful and has the feeling of seclusion, even though located in the heart of the city. The food ingredients are very fresh. My favorite sashimi was described as tuna belly....yum! Service was excellent. Prices were reasonable for the quality of the food. I will definitely be back!
