I visited this place for a quick lunch during the work. It really reminded me of TGI Fridays with more Mexican Style options in the menu. I cannot say that it was something special or traditional but I enjoyed a quick lunch because of the fast service and the smiley staff.

We ate at several Mexican restaurants but, living in Mexico, I was hungry for ribs and Chilis is just across the street from Alameda Park. You have to take an elevator to the second floor but it is well marked. The service seemed slow but the place was packed and we were in no hurry. It was worth the wait.... More

If I am ever seen at Chili's in the D.F., Just shoot me. At best a C- chain in the States, why would one eat here in a city with such amazing food?

Staying in Alameda

Neighbourhood Profile
Alameda
This beautiful park was once the playground for the wealthiest families in the colonial era, and is now the perfect place where locals and visitors can spend a sunny weekend afternoon to relax or shop for souvenirs at the market. Kids can run around or grab a bite of cotton candy while teens and adults wander around admiring the charming gardens and the sculptures that adorn it. Once the heat rises, it may be time to visit one of the many cozy restaurants or cafés with its characteristic art nouveau facades to cool down and call it a day.
