Hit and miss ... particularly on the starters. Some of them were quite nice and some were not nice at all. For the pricepoint this place has everything should be good.

My wife and I had a wonderful lunch at Alekzander, a small, cozy restaurant in Colonia Roma. What makes it unique, aside from its intimate setting, is their menu. Next to each item is a symbol to indicate the country of origin--something to suit almost everyone's taste. Great idea! My wife ordered a Reuben sandwich prepared with "dark" bread made... More

Went yesterday to Alekzander. Sadly not a good experience. Starting with cocktails, a simple martini was poorly prepared. Menu is exaggeratedly eclectic, but all dishes we ordered were below average quality and presentation. Last but not least, service was friendly but untrained as typically in Mexico City.

Had dinner here last night and we shared everything and it was really good and not crazy expensive. Great bottles of wine. My favorite things were the greek salad, sausage pizza was awesome. Service was great!

When I read the menu of this place I thought it was a bit all over the place. However, every single plate we ordered (from the pizzas to the carpaccio and the pintos were nothing short from delicious. Cocktails were also very good and the ambiance was great for a fun night with friends. The bill was not cheap, because... More

The atmosphere is perfect for a long talk with your friends while having a good drink. The inside is beautiful and the service is quite good. The food is not spectacular, nothing special.

So adorable on the inside. Only stopped in for drinks and wifi. Nonetheless, had a marvelous time! Ask for drink recommendations- the staff was happy to create something based off what we liked in our drinks.

This place has a nice atmosphere, great decor and decent food. The best is the price-value equation. Not the best food (except for the tuna hamburger ) but also not that expensive.

Felt very trendy and lots of great cocktails - for those of you who live in London I felt I was back in Notting Hill in this place! For all that it was a good place to go and enjoyed our time there.
