We always make time for a meal at Zefiro when we come to Mexico City. We have never been disappointed. On our last visit the highlights were the bread basket and the sliced tongue. 1 issue is that one of our party had a food allergy (to onion) and many items had onion premixed. The restaurant could have done better... More

Dear Bob, Thank you so much for your excellent references about us, we appreciate the fact that visiting Zefiro is part of your schedule, what an honor! On the other hand, we are so sorry that the options of dishes without onion are only a few, generally, onion is a fundamental ingredient for the Mexican cuisine, we’ll work on that.... More

I came with my family and I realice that the guys on the service doesn't know the menu, and they were so distracted. The food was cold and some of the times was very very small. awful experience.

We found Zefiro while walking on Regina, a street Downtown that has been cleaning up nicely in recent years with the arrival of bars, eateries and galleries. The restaurant is located inside a building that served as a cloister in the late 1500´s and all the decoration is a tasteful nod to baroque. The place is run by students close... More

We had a great time at Zefiro. We ordered the monthly menu (April) and all courses tasted and looked great. Good value for money (we had 3 courses and a fruit water (included in the menu) for 280$ pp). Would definitely recommend it!

Probably one of the best restaurants in Town!. Nested quietly in the premises of the Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana campus in downtown México City this restaurant has it all. Let me start by mentioning this place is run by the seniors of this college, majoring in Chef and related Hospitality degrees. However this is all you get to... More

My experience in Zefiro was very good. I liked so much the food, that is mexican contemporary food. I ordered a dish of octopus and it was really good. I think that you can also create new beverages, it were so average and a little bit expensive, but my experience was great! I will come back one day!

I have been to Restaurante Zefiro in various occasions. It has become one of my faves in Mexico City. The place is actually a school-restaurant for the alumni from the top semesters of what is considered the best Culinary Institute in Latin America –the Claustro de Sor Juana University. Set in a stunning XVII Century building, at some point it... More
