This was the most wonderful meal of our trip. Both my husband and I had fish entrees, also tomato cricket sale with parmesan crisps, and the COCONUT FLAN for dessert. I frequently visit restaurants in large cities and this meal was a 10 and I...More

Exceptional, personalized service. Wonderful dining ambience. Food exceptional. The jalapeño margarita was the best margarita I'd ever had. A bit spicy, but not killer. The duck mole was exceptional. The sommelier overheard me mention to my companion that it was his birthday. Unbeknownst to us,...More

This is a very nice restaurant, good to have an idea for modern Mexican food. The restaurant is nice, and the menu have a lot of choices. I love the names for each dish, maybe hard for a tourist to understand the meaning of each...More

Nice place, creative decorated, but the dishes as not good as they look. Really disappoited. But some drinks look fabulous and taste quite good.

My husband and I had a delicious dinner here, arranged for us by the concierge at our hotel. The decor is spare and sophisticated, whitewashed walls, red banquettes and a hint of gold and pink here and there. Modern but with traditional elements. The food...More

We visited Dulce Patria a few days ago and the food was excellent. Mexican food with a modern twist at its very best! The place came highly recommended by a friend and it didn't disappoint. If I had to very strict there were two things...More

It is a beautiful restaurant, with really interesting food--a clear point of view, but I did not love all of it. We had a large group of friends, filling out one side of the second floor. My friend ordered a tamarind margarita, which was served...More

I'm a huge foodie and was SO excited for the food in Mexico City. For the most part, from street food in the huge working class La Merced to the fine dining spots we tried, it didn't disappoint. Dulce Patria was the one big letdown....More

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
We are a group of 12 senior citizens visiting DF and looking for a great meal that won't break the bank. Would you recommend Dulce Patria for our group? What dishes would you recommend? Are the portions a decent size (not small plates). Would a salad, main course and dessert be enough food? How much approximately would that cost us without liquor? Thank you. Martin

Hello, I have only been there once, however, I'm sure they can accommodate you. Food without cocktails should not be over 40-50usd/person. It's definitely worth it.. Enjoy!!

I would like to see a menu. Why is it that most restaurants in Polanco (and in Mexico more generally) do NOT have the menu on line?

Menus are in spanish because this is Mexico and that is our language. Dining in such venues is always a surprise, but rest assured that Dulce Patria will be up to your expectations. Very fine mexican food and a decent wine... More
