We had lunch with the family, an service was OK, the food average, the place has not been remodeled for years. The level of noise is high, and the restaurant was full. The menu is still the same, but somehow limited if you want something simple.

We found a good food, the service was bad, there was a couple that left because they were not attended. The worst was at the end, they made a charge for "Cubierto" which is something like to have the right tu use the table!!!, amazing that there are places still charging that.

This is by far one of the best Mexican restaurants to visit when in Mexico City. The prices are very reasonable, service is always excellent, and the food is fantastic. I would highly suggest the plate on the menu that is recommended/their specialty. The gigantic margaritas are a plus!

Had lunch here with some colleagues, and it was a really nice experience. Service was nice and friendly, and very helpful. A unique twist was the approach to selling dessert; instead of bringing a cart around, they brought a tablet and showed us electronically - all the better to keep the dessert fresh. The food was all delicious, with a... More

Strangely enough two groups from the Anthropology Museum ended up here as it is a tourist stop. However it is slick and nicely laid out so not overcrowded. There is a set menu with choices, do go for the local marinaded steak as it is excellent as was the local green soup. However you have to try the Tamarind Margarita... More

Very nice restaurant in the heart of Polanco serving delicious mexican food! Huge margaritas are awesome! But the best part of your night will definitely be mariachi show!

A really fun night at a traditional Mexican restaurant. Make sure you get a table before the Mariachis start. Huge Margaritas & authentic Mexican food make for a memorable night out. It's lively & the staff are super friendly, so get some stress out, let your hair down & have a night out at Villa Maria !

Villa María is one of the best mexican food restaurantes in the City, the menú is plenty of regionals plates. The service is good and you can listen "mariachis". Ask before if your selection is too hot for you
