I had visited Biko two years ago to find an outstanding dining experience in the very competitive Mexico DF scene. Having been to the Basque region in Spain the year before, I was taken aback by how fresh and true the restaurant proved to be. I returned this February to find very much the opposite. The restaurant seems tired, the... More

It was supposed to be an incredible Valentine's Day meal, having found out Biko was rated in the top 50 restaurants in the world. It did NOT play out that way, and I wish we'd gone elsewhere. We took one of the few reservations left for the day, at 4:00 (comida). The entrance, including the elevator up the the restaurant... More

I looked into going to a top mexico city restaurant 2 weeks before my trip, pujol and quintonil were not available. My friend stated that Biko was a top restaurant and I made the reservation. We both had the tasting menu , did not go for the wine pairing. I had the tamarind margarita which I will say was truly... More

Definitely in my Top 5 ever. The food from start to finish was exceptional. The service impeccable. It is no wonder this restaurant is so highly regarded not just in Mexico. We had some amazing The Macallan whisky throughout the meal, that made the experience even better. Make sure you book. We were there on a Tuesday night and it... More

Atmospheric restaurant with great reputation but overrated. We have been in Mexico for the past 3 weeks and have found no restaurant with as poor service and lack of concern. Truth be told, I speak almost no Spanish but my wife is fairly fluent. We had major difficulty interpreting a very complex menu in Spanish and had virtually no cooperation... More

This restaurant takes its knowledge from 3 star Michelin chef Arzak in San Sebastián, Spain. The chef of Biko worked there and brought his knowledge to create great dishes. Good price for the menu. Do try it.

We got off to a bad start. Having made a reservation at what is considered one of Mexico City’s best restaurants and, having read all the excellent reviews, we were excited to discover what the team in the kitchen had in store for us. Unfortunately, the young waiter assigned to our table had his own, unique take on how to... More

Went last week with my wife and a friend and all other of us had food that none of us liked, and my wife had a Margarita that tasted strange.Went to several other restaurants in the area and enjoyed the food at all the others. Service was good there, but nothing better than the other good restaurants in the area.

Biko has one of those dining rooms you want to dress up for; it attracts a beautiful, affluent crowd. My sister and I went there for dinner (tasting menu) on a Friday and the food and service did not disappoint. I had a tamarind margarita and it was the most memorable drink I've had in forever.

Our fifth restaurant visit from the world's Top 50. Deserving of the ranking! The tasting menu was sublime and the wine pairings were excellent. Service was excellent and definitely world class. Cannot wait to return.
