This historic building was the home of a wealthy family, and has been converted into a restaurant and event facility. It is absolutely beautiful and the food is outstanding. Take time to walk around the grounds and enjoy the architecture and artifacts.

I was at Hacienda Los morales 30 years ago. I came back this time and I was still happy to see how beautiful this place is. The food is still good though I will not call it spectacular. I ordered Chicharron de calamari and they were just average. The crepes were really wonderful. The service still very good. It is... More

Haciendas are old homes that are now hotels or restaurants, but Hacienda de los Morales is special because it is set in the middle of Mexico city's business district with enormous, modern tower blocks surrounding it. Walking into the courtyard, it already felt very authentic with large trees along with the entire ceiling daubed with red, white and green decorations,... More

I have eaten at hecienda de Los morales for many years and I am never disappointed . The food and service are excellent and the music adds a festive and romantic atmosphere. The property itself is beautiful and historic , the quintessence of old Mexico ..

We arrived to a private room, where a number of functions were in full swing. The noise was incredible. This was about 7:15 on a Saturday night. A christening, a wedding , and other functions all with bands or DJs. Service was slow and the waiters got the orders mixed up. What food came was good . If thinking of... More

This was my second time at La Hacienda de los Morales. Sane wonderful service and atmosphere. Food is excellent. Great variety: from classical Mexican, to gourmet varieties. We brought our own wine. Our initial reservation was made for 6 people and later on requested a table for 9. It was granted to us on a busy Saturday evening. Very accommodating!... More

I'm so thankful this place was recommended to us; the food was delicious and the live music was so wonderful. It was a very happy and peaceful feeling listening to the piano, violin music and drinking wine. Only thing, I wish I went for lunch instead of dinner so I could better photograph the grounds. It's truly beautiful 😊

Haciendo de los Morales is a traditional restaurant with Mexican and international cuisine at the very highest standards. The cuisine is neither extremely traditional nor the latest fashion. It is simply optimized to fit in with an attentive service that is not pushy, but present when you need it, beautiful installations and a very convenient location from many points in... More

After not going there for many years I returned last week for a business dinner, and was positively surprised. Unlike the San Angel Inn, which is a beautiful place with very regular food, the meal we had in Hacienda Morales was excellent. I had a scallop carpaccio and as a main course the chile stuffed with crab meat - delicious.

This place has lost none of its charm from what I remember over 40 years ago. The service is outstanding with live music and an excellent variety of dishes. Very European Old world elegance. An evening that you will remember. Not cheap but worth the visit,

During colonial times la Hacienda de los Morales was located on the outskirts of Mexico City, but today it is within its confines, only a short distance from the exclusive hotels, museums and shops of Polanco. This stately mansion, a recipient of numerous awards including the 5 Diamond and the Dirona Awards, and the Executive Chef Alejandro Heredia Resendiz named Mexican Chef of the 20th Century by the Cullinary Academy of France, transports visitors to another era in a refined atmosphere where the hospitality and service make every moment a memorable one. In addition to the international menu with Mexican specialties, there are several Gastronomic Festivals each year with the participation of such outstanding establishments as I Chiostri di Firenze, Las Ventanas al Paraiso, The Lobster Festival Puerto Nuevo Style, and Il Milanese Curioso. This formal restaurant is open except Easter week and official Holidays. Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket and tie after 6:00 pm.
