My wife loved her duck in a fruity sauce of cherries and strawberries, and an Oriental nest of noodles. But in an established French restaurant, there is no excuse for what they tried to pass off as steak au poivre: a tasteless cut of meat in plain gravy--no peppercorns, barely any flavor at all. The mixed veggies on the side... More

Great place, the food was delicious and the knowledge about wines was amazing. I was expecting to be way more expensive but the price was almost the same as restaurants half as good.

I've dined at this fine dining establishment for fifteen years, making at least one stop every time I go to Mexico City. Every friend I have taken has simply raved about the cuisine. Although the focus is traditional French cuisine, including heavy and rich sauces, the chefs also produce a wide range of traditional Central Mexican fish and meat dishes.... More

We have been living in Mexico for 15 years and we passed by this restaurant many times over the years.. I dont know why we didn't try it before as we are french and love our motherland's food... Instinct maybe? Well we decided to go this week-end, with a good friend of ours. We were cruelly disapointed all the way!... More

We regret that the food was not to your liking, we would have liked us to comment from the beginning of his annoyance so that he could comment with the chef and give him a solution, at Les Mustaches we are concerned about our client since his satisfaction is the letter of Presentation and that for 42 years of tradition... We have eaten at Les Moustaches many times. Our waiter Armando did a wonderful job and the food was good. Our problem involved Jonas the sommelier. We asked for a wine list which Armando supplied quickly. We ordered a bottle from the list only to be brought by Jonas something other than what was ordered. This was brought to their... More

Well, everybody could have his opinion on this, however I find ridiculous refusing the entrance to a restaurant for a dressing code... I was in shorts an tshirt, but I know how to behave properly and appreciate good food, I do not have to wear a costume for this... I don't feel comfortable with this kind of behavior...

We went there because of local guidance. Environment is quite cozy, live music not strident, but quite pleasant), and excellent dinner ('extraviado' -a fish- was superb) and supportive staff. Price, of course, compared to standard Mexican restaurants, but it's worthy to pay the difference (at least once).

Mexico City is one of the great food capitals of the world. With over 3,000 restaurants, I still find myself returning to one’s I have enjoyed over the years, yet need to start exploring one’s that I have not experienced. For this night, the decision was made, and it is back to Les Moustaches which seems to have been in... More

Will keep this simple and to the point. There were two of us for dinner. The bill was something over 3200.00 pesos. 4000.00 pesos were put into the folder. Over 15 minutes elapsed before having to ask for change. It would not have come had it not been requested. Behavior of this nature is not acceptable anywhere.

This restaurant is one of those that people will define as iconic. According to our waiter, he said it's a must visit for top notch businessmen. The prices reflect so. The cuisine is typical French, performed skillfully. The restaurant itself is located in what used to be a grand house back in the day, so it has a very cozy... More
