Wonderful thin crust pizza cooked in a wood fired oven. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. It is located a short walk from main Jardin de la Union.

We have been dinning at La Capellina since 2007. It used to be far more casual and the food was better. As the atmosphere gets fancier and the menu more pretentious, the food quality has suffered. My wife's pasta dish was simply not good. Overcooked, soggy spaghetti that fell apart in sauce that seems "leftover". We ordered Beef Carpaccio but... More

Good was just okay but service was weird. We arrived at a reasonable hour but they were not busy. They served us but then made it clear they wanted us to hurry so they could close. It was very uncomfortable.

My wife and I had lunch there and we found the atmosphere to be a bit dark. There is not very much window seating available. My wife had spaghetti with salmon in cream sauce with curry. The was a good dish but not outstanding. I had enchiladas with chicken and potato, special of Guanajuato. I found this to been uninteresting.... More

Great pizzas, OK wines, very good service (usually), and great entrees. The fusion dishes (Asian tuna; enchiladas; the Antares salad) are wonderful. Sit outside if the weather's nice. One of the best restaurants in GTO, especially if you want a break from straight Mexican cuisine. Pricey for GTO but a bargain for the value compared to the US or European... More

After reading the reviews and passing by the restaurant several times, we ate here before a symphony concert at the nearby Theatre. Service was good. However, the food was actually lousy. The salad I ordered was slathered in watery dressing, the pork loin was rather tasteless, and my partner's salmon was actually bland. We did not order pizza, which we... More

Food was great, but was not so happy with the service. The fact that they were a little rude with walk ins dissapointed us, but I still wanted to go eat in this place. We ended up almost begging to get a table when the place was empty and we finally got accomodated. The food was good, but I felt... More

If you want a simple but delicious meal, this a place to visit. If your visit is at weekend, I recommend you book at advance.

It's on the main drag going into the Centro. It's a nice oldish decoration with comfortable seating. The service is very good and they try their utmost to speak English, but if you do speak a bit of Spanish it will help. We had pizza made to our liking and it was very good. There were also other dishes that... More

The service is lovely but the food was awful. The shrimp tacos had tiny tasteless shrimps with an awful cream sauce. The onion soup was inedible.
