Had appetizers and glass of wine. The poblano empanada and the cheese empanada both came out in 3-4 minutes after ordering and both were literally cold on the inside. They were clearly frozen, then fried in record-setting time. They brought out another order, but by that time I had lost interest as it is off-putting to bite into cold food.... More

Our party of five landed in Guanajuato mid-morning and pretty hungry, but we waited for a window table facing the Teatro Juarez. The menu selection was difficult with so many choices, and the service was impeccable with patient waiters. We each chose something different, and everyone was thrilled with the presentation and taste of their food. No one left hungry.

This is a large and established place in an ideal location. The inside is elegant and comfortable. The menu is very extensive and the wine list is equally good. Everything I had, ceviche, grille fish and dessert were very well prepared with a good presentation. The servers, all dressed up in black, are a bit stuffy but efficient.

Had breakfast here 4 or 5 times during our visit, since it was included in our stay at the Boutique Hotel 1850. Breakfast choices were numerous (tried several of them), truly Mexican delicacies, and very well prepared. Sumptuous, plentiful, and satisfying.

My husband and I arranged for a tour of Guanajuato for ourselves, our daughter, her husband and our 2 teenaged granddaughters, and our guide suggested having lunch here. We weren't disappointed. Although I can't remember what everyone had, my daughter and I had arachera tacos, which were excellent. My husband had cheese enchiladas, which he loved. The tab at the... More

You wont go wrong eating here. Ate here for both dinner and lunch. Lunch was inexpensive compared to USA prices ! Food excellent with table cloth service! Fantastic value at a 5 star rewstaurant. It is conveniently located as well in the Jardin.

We ate dinner here our first night upon arrival and it was delightful with service from our waiter "Martin'". We had some ceviche, tacos rancheros, salmon carpaccio, cerveza and of course, excellent Mexican tequila. We also ate desiuno (breakfast) which was included with our hotel (Hotel Boutique 1850) stay, next to the restaurant. Traditional Mexican breakfasts with very good coffee... More

Good ambience, live piano music great coctails, but food is average and lacks personality. We had fish pasta that came out watery and with diluted sauce. Entrees also average. Service is outstanding on the other hand.
