I enjoyed the ambience and old world feel of the place. When my girlfriend and I attended there was a guest chef from Spain who specialized in hams. We ordered two servings of a thinly sliced prosciutto style ham. It was divine. We stuck with appetizers. We had the spiced olives that were nothing special and a cheese plate. It... More

I went with a couple of friends to dinner and we get an interior table, the restaurant have regular beer, a fine menu for a moderate price and a beautiful live singer surrounded by exceptional musical artists (I remember one of them performing a perfect polyphonic overtone singing), that was an awesome evening talking and laughing with my beloved friends...... We really wanted to like this restaurant more. The space is quite lovely and the service is friendly. I think that the quality of the experience here is directly related to what you order. We started with the mixed charcuterie plate which was quite generous and very good. Up next the bouillabaisse which was also very good. But my duck... More

On our first night in Guanajuato, it was suggested that we try this restaurant, as it was close to our hotel on the plaza. It is situated on the second floor of a mixed use building (i.e., shops, other restaurants). The space itself is inviting, with soft lighting, rustic tables and chairs, and lots of art on the walls. The... More

Our 3rd visit to this restaurant. I return for the Beef Wellington. The appetizers of pate and tapenade were very good. My Beef Wellington was excellent as usual. My wife's Beef Bourguignon, however, was inedible. Small "nuggets" of tough, chewy, overcooked beef spoiled the dish entirely. We expect nice pieces of tender, slow cooked meat. Too bad. I will want... More

We went here for wine, jazz, and a late dinner. The menu is a la carte and the offerings are much different than the other restaurants in town. We had a great time and found the food to be high quality and delicious. The portions are large. A very nice dinner with live jazz music, soup (served in a huge... More

We arrived without reservations and without foresight of the menu, where almost every menu item from soups, salads, appetizers and mains comprises some elements to make it "over the top" taste bud shock and impossible to plan 3 or 4 courses in sequence given the ingredients being used in every plate. Its too much of trying too hard to create... More

We are at a loss to understand why this restaurant is so highly rated. We figured the chef must have left but were told this is not the case. We had pasta with chorizo and vegetarian couscous. Neither was worth finishing (and we love food so rarely leave any.) I would give it two stars as it was so disappointing... More

You should make reservations. Great food. Nothing more to be said! Put it in your list and make sure you eat there. We throughly enjoyed our dinner. Best so far.

This hidden restaurant is on a second Floor with open windows to the Guanajuato streets ambience, has a art gallery adyacent that if you are lucky can enjoy opera rehearsals, chello clases etc... It is a ubique timeless experience. Food is great by the way, south french style. Can't, shouldn't miss it for a cultural romantic trip.
