This is a lovely historic building with the restaurant in the courtyard. Nice for a group meal. We enjoyed the salads, but there is a good menu selection. Great stop when you are visiting the downtown sites.

Tenderloin was anything but tender. Fish was overcooked. Toilets were very dirty. Service was very slow. Although staff was trying to help and the courtyard is nice (despite badly kept, as well), my recommendation is to avoid it.

I came here because the line to get into La Chata stretched all the way down to Juarez and I've always admired the architecture of this building. I thought they were closed at 7:00: empty room with unset tables and no staff in sight - Finally someone came out of somewhere and told me to sit where I wanted; I... More

Located in a colonial building . resembling Morocco and south of Spain. Perfect service. Good food. Recommended Guacamole.

I don't want anyone to get the idea that this is a great restaurant. It's not. It's quite a quaint, old fashioned restaurant in the heart of the tourist area with equally quaint, old fashioned service. The menu is pretty ordinary and the short (approaching non existent) wine list is "interesting"! But, the Cazuela de Camarones was exceptional! I can't... More

Spectacular setting in an old convent. Very lovely and comfortable. Good food, but not great. Attentive service.

Go for drinks and mariachis in the patio of this old majestic home. Its a special place right in the hustle and bustle of downtown. Beautifully preserved mansion now serves good drinks with a smile.

After several kilometers of walking the center of Guadalajara we were quite peckish...we stopped at La Rinconada and were directed to sit where we liked. We took a window seat rather than sitting in the attractive former courtyard, now covered. Service was prompt and friendly. QWwe shared mushrooms ajillo - delicious fresh mushrooms baked with garlic and chili - fine... More

This beautiful restaurant is just steps away from the Teatro Degollado in the heart of Historic Guadalajara. It was by far the best "sit down" meal we had on our recent vacation. The food was excellent, very reasonably priced and the service was extraordinary! The margaritas were perfect and the fine tequila menu was complete. I honestly wish I could... More
