If you want authentic this is the place. Menu is fun and not your typical boring Mexican fare. Drinks are great, recipes that you won't see in your usual Mexican restaurant. Portions seemed small but we were definitely satisfied. Great attentive service and atmosphere off the busy malecón! Will be back !!

This was by far one of the best restaurant experiences we have ever had. The menu is full of distinctive dishes along with a few specials. The decor and atmosphere are lovely and the service was outstanding. It is not the easiest place to find if you are not familiar with the town. We are so glad we found it.... More

Great service with a smile. Wonderful drinks and food. Guacamole is made table side and is incredible. Have it as spicy or mild as you like. This eatery should be a stop for everyone who visits Puerto Vallarta

I wandered in around 5 and was immediately seated. Sometimes I bet you you will need a reservation. Its up away from the heart of the malecon boardwalk. I thought the drinks and food was great and the service was attentive. I highly recommend the cactus salad and the plantain empanadas. They brought me the house made chips and salsa... More

this restaurant feels like home. Charming decor and warm and friendly service. Every visit (4 times in 10 years) gets better and better. they have a wonderful selection of Mexican wines from Valle de Guadalupe. Of course, the El Arrayan margarita is unlike anything you have tried. The duck tosadas and duck carnitas are outstanding. I had the Chiles en... More

We were able to have a great sampling of a few items. My favorite was the hibiscus cheese quesadilla. The 2 flavors together was amazing. We were also informed that they do cooking classes which we would love to come back and do next year!

Back in 2011 I wrote, "From the various salsas to the fried cricket tacos to the more traditional, but never Tex-Mex, entrees, a wonderful food adventure. Not to be missed." I have returned every year since, and I haven't changed my opinion (although the salsas seemed milder this year). It is a must-try for any fan of Mexican cuisine. Mid-range... More

We really enjoyed this restaurant, we had excellent service, there was great live music, and very creative, delicious food! My daughter and I enjoyed a hibiscus quesadilla, followed by barbacoa for her and chile en nogada for me, followed by a fabulous pumpkin seed merengue with fruit and ice cream. Everything was prepared beautifully and our service was really excellent.... More

We arrived around 6pm, which is early to eat in PV, and the restaurant was still quiet. We had great service and enjoyed our meals seated in the beautiful courtyard with the namesake arrayan tree growing in the middle. Food was good and definitely different from other nearby menus, but not quite a "5 star" rating for me.
