Johnny's won our business by default. We tried to find another place for breakfast which has since closed down, but we walked by here and decided to return to give it a try. This place is very popular with the locals and long-term visitors. The menu is very American with some very affordable breakfast choices. I had an omelette which... More

After a recent newspaper review we finally decided to try Johnny's. The service was a bit slow so be prepared to wait. The food was good though kind of small portions. The biscuits in the biscuits and gravy were a bit tough. Did this stand out - not really.

Went for the bisquits and gravy, which are supposed to be excellent. We were told the bisquits were just put in the oven and would be done in 10 minutes. 20 minutes later, they came out of the oven. The bisquits were excellent. The gravy was bland and average. The worst was the server, who consistently ran both hands through... More

This little restaurant, has a great location and a lot of charm and is primarily a breakfast place. We had stopped in here a couple of times just for coffee, which good and reasonably priced. Today we stopped in and decided to have a breakfast..... what a mistake.... while we were offered coffee right away, we had to wait for... More

Johnny's has the best breakfast and value on Basilio Badillo. Sunday Brunch is a must while we visit PV. Try the Johnny's Pancakes or Eggs Benedict

We stumbled upon Johny's Diner while shopping in Old Town neighborhood. Very friendly staff from Hostess, servers to Barista. Older Caucasian male (manager/owner?) occasionally walks to and from private area from above/first floor to talk with staff. Be patient with timing to receive order when placing. We ate breakfast both times we ate there on separate days and times in... More

Good service, great decor very nostalgic. Prices are good. I had the biscuits and gravy and am sad to say that they were by no means even adequate. Gravy taste weird and was curdled looking. Over cooked hashbrowns and rubbery eggs. There are much better breakfast spots very close by I won't be returning to this restaurant.

We stopped in at Johnny's for breakfast on our last day staying in the "Old Town". We were glad we did, breakfast was very good and inexpensive. I had my usual "Canadian" and my wife, her usual "Mexican"! Both gave their countries cuisine fair justice. Johnny's has a nice open feel, it is very much as you expect. Its interior... More

We've eaten there lots of times, but usually for breakfast. I like sitting in the main part of the restaurant so I can watch the foot traffic on the sidewalk out front. It's better than TV! The eggs Benedict and the Joe's Special are two of my favorites, combined with fresh juice and great coffee. The bacon is superb as... More
