My husband and I were at Teatro Limon twice this past winter, once in January and once in early March. It’s a wonderful special occasion restaurant, located in a quiet suburb: a few short blocks inland from the main road from the airport to downtown, in the Hotel Zone. The décor is beautiful: modern, and yet cozy. As everyone says,... More

All I can say is WOW! From the moment you walk in the relaxation and fun begins dining at Teatro Limon. Bruce sat down at our table and asked my wife and me the usual, likes and dislikes, and also if we had any food allergies. After a few more questions and some joking back and forth between Bruce and... More

For those of you looking for a place off the beaten path, then this is your place. This restuarant is 5 or 6 blocks in from San Javier Hospital, and many taxi drivers are just starting to really learn about this place as well. But you can't miss it, if any body familiar with Vallarta, remembers the torches in front... More

We started out prepared with a map to Teatro, as was mentioned many times on TA that the taxis just don't know of this hidden gem in a residential area. You arrive at what I think are Bruce & Julia's home and by the time you leave you will feel as if you've just visited old friends. With the acception... More

I've been traveling to PV for 7 years now, twice a year. My love of PV starts with the food. I have been trying new restaurants in PV every time I go. I have not been to all, but I have been to most. The food, atmosphere, service, and the personal entertaining, engaging way dinner is served is the best... More

The setup - This was to be our early Valentines Day dinner, as we were actually flying on the 14th. I had been in email contact with Bruce (Owner of TL), for a few weeks before. I wanted the night to be special for my lovely wife, as nowadays we don not really get the chance with a very spry... More

While the surroundings are beautiful, the food and service are far below good. The experience for 7 of us started with Bruce inquiring about our food allergies, and went down hill from there. The soup for which which no choice was given, was an oyster broth which those who ate declared excellent .. We left the meal's choice to Bruce... More

We visited Teatro Limon (5 of us) in February and it was simply an amazing all-around experience. We were the restaurant's first reservations of the evening (it got pretty busy before we left around 8), and received a ton of personal attention from Bruce and the entire staff. I cannot even begin to tell you how impressed each of us... More

I'm a professional traveller (I do it for a living) & I travel constantly in Mexico & the rest of the world. I eat out in restaurants at least twice a day. When I arrive home to Puerto Vallarta, or when I have special guests, the first thing I do is call Bruce & make reservations for dinner. We have... More

My husband and I ate at this restaurant and did not enjoy it at all. Upon entering the restaurant you are greeted by the owner who comes to your table and makes it seem like he is going to whip up a meal according to all the foods you tell him you love. He asks you different questions about our... More

Description
Teatro Limón is Puerto Vallarta's finest interactive dining experience. Sit back and enjoy a relaxing meal or take part in the creation and enjoyment of a gourmet meal designed by (or with) talented Canadian Chef, Bruce Byng. You find no boring fixed menu here, Teatro Limon's innovative plates constantly changing. And while Bruce continually strives to come up with exciting new approaches to beloved classics, he is unwavering in his insistence on premium quality and absolute freshness. Be as involved as you want. Or, Opt to sit back and soak in the good things that come to you in the cheery torch-lit terrace under the stars. Or, make yourself comfortable in the open kitchen and be part of the action. Every cocktail imaginable comes out of the fully stocked bar just the way you like it and wine pairings are suggested, with several vintages available by the glass. All in all, an evening at Teatro Limón is an unforgettable and yes, somewhat theatrical experience, ideal for sharing with family, a group of friends or that special someone. Teatro Limon is located in the heart of Old town on Basilio badillo 229 on the upper level of Cocco's Market Bistro Cafe
