Piano, the owner met us at the door. Enrique waited on us and made us feel special and cared for. The tortilla is the best around! The crabs are soooo delicious! The seafood rellenos were stuffed with seafood: fish shrimp and scallops. Very nicely prepared. Even the red wine was at room temperature! A rarity for PV.

We walked from the beach front, through backstreets of PVR to this quaint restaurant. Enrica, a seasonal waiter from Guadalajara, pleasantly greeted us. The peach and Brie quesadilla was tasty and brought "on the house" without order. We enjoyed the corn cakes (corn meal based, like a polenta) with interesting texture and sweet (not cloying) sauce. The coconut shrimp were... More

We were given a recommendation to try this restaurant and were not disappointed. Had an appetizer (brie and peach quesadillas), very unique, plus main course (chile rellenos seemed a bit under cooked) and a delicious dessert (bananas and ice cream). Margaritas were okay (not too weak, not too strong). The ambience of this setting is what makes it!

Definitely my favorite restaurant in Puerto Vallarta. The staff is friendly and attentive, the food is excellent, and the atmosphere quiet and charming. We have a home in Puerto Vallarta and visit several times a year, it's now customary for us to begin and end our trip by visiting our friends at Encanto. It is also the "go to" restaurant... More

I have eaten here about 4 times over the last 3 years. A staple of the neighborhood for a nicer meal. Lunch, when they offer it is a great deal with more of a comida corida style. Night time a bit more formal. The place has wonderful charm with multiple dining rooms. The meals are okay... nothing spectacular but with... More

We first discovered this place 7 years ago, by a recommendation and we go every time we get to Puerto Vallarta! Great atmosphere, great food and great hospitality. They always give us something to try for free and we always enjoy everything we eat. It is off the beaten path but you can walk or get a taxi, we never... More

Encanto is one of those hidden gems that people will miss out on if they haven't been told about it or read about it. It's in a Mexican neighborhood, in a quaint little house. The menu is small but has something for everyone. Don't miss trying the corn cakes. They melt in your mouth. The mahi mahi special was delicious.... More

Being greeted like a regular at a restaurant we visit once a year - our cab is greeted - we receive hugs from our waiter and are escorted to our desired table without asking. the delicious house appetizers appear like magic - excellent drinks follow. Smiles and laughter abound. Encanto is truly special. I recommend ordering what your host recommends... More

This was our first time eating at Encanto to but it won't be our last. Everything was perfect- the food, the wine, the service, the atmosphere. This place is now in our " must eat at" list in PV.
