We have visited Gus Gus several times and is very popular with the expats. Food and drink are moderate priced in line with most places in the Zone.

Gus Gus is a local hotspot. Often has live music which is nice & the band is very good. The food is always tasty & the service extremely good.

Great food! Found this place for lunch one day. Took a swing at it, even though no one was eating there at that time. We were not disappointed. The staff and food were equally great. Although we didn't go, this place really gets going at night with live music and full tables. Looked like fun!

Fun place, the waiter knew the words to every Bob Dylan song, so we called him Bob. Very attentive, food was good for sitting just off a sidewalk, with cars going by. That's the only bad part, but plenty of people and car watching.

Right off the main drag. Normally will have American Football games on the big screen outdoors even when others do not. Downside is the commentary is in Spanish. But I can live with that. I normally will go at night. Jesus the bar tender is very nice and friendly. Great place to have some dinner and do a little dancing... More

Just a couple of blocks from the El Cid Castilla. 5 large shrimp plus rice and veggies for about $13 and they were really good. Gotta try it!

I visited this restaurant my first night in Mazatlan as it was right across the street from my hotel and was not disappointed. It's a lively little patio that sells a delicious shrimp dish. I asked the server for a recommendation and he told me a shrimp dish was popular. The shrimp were huge, stuffed with cheese, and breaded. They... More
