Sitting down by the marina we had high expectations. We grabbed the first table, our waiter seemed friendly. We ordered drinks then our food. The drinks took awhile but the food took awhile. Other tables filled up and still no food. Then the waiter brought...out an appetizer (octopus which was good) and a shrimp taco (very good). However we ordered the roasted beet salad as her appetizer. After awhile we got the three crab tacos and the salad (last). That was annoying. The food was good, not outstanding. And that was it for the service. Asked for the bill, took awhile, then the machine. Too much waiting around. Just wanted to leave.More

Great view but that's all ! "Marina pasta" sounded good but don't get too excited, you will only get 2 shrimps (yes 2 shrimps), two hard bread'slices which were supposed to taste like langoustine. The salsa didn't have any taste, surely one that you can...buy in the supermarket like the brownie. Don't be fooled by the pictures !More

We ate there shortly after our arrival at Puerto Las Hadas in Jan. 2020. Our 1st meal was medium rare steaks for both my wife & myself. They were thin, but tasty. Mine had a lot of gristle & fat, but Carole's had far less....Our salads were very good & the red & white house wines were good. On the 2nd occasion during Feb. 2020, Carole had the beef tenderloin, while I had lobster ravioli done 3 different ways. Carole loved her tenderloin & my lobster ravioli was sensational. It was different though.....like an open face sandwich with the lobster directly on top of each flat ravioli. Lots of lobster & each prepared way was delicious. Carole couldn't finish her beef & we had it the following a.m. with eggs. The 3rd time was in March for Carole's birthday. Once again, she had the beef tenderloin and I had their jambalaya. Both were good and ourw ith our red & white wines.More

Food was better than average. Service was slow. My wife ordered a vodka with cranberry juice. Received the drink no vodka in it. Asked where the vodka was, was brought her drink back and said two more ounces added. Still no vodka taste with a...short glass. Maybe watered down? Probably would go backMore

We had a lovely romantic table.....ceasars salad made at our table was wonderful and the brochettes we custom ordered with only lobster and shrimp was delicious.. Such a great location as we were staying in Puerto Las Hadas condos next to marina. We ate here...quite a few times in the two week stay and enjoyed every meal. Great prices and staff as wellMore

Food pleased everybody.....attentive service for fussy gringos.....White wine selection very limited.....Surprise starter MX Chistorra suasage grilled should be tried. Harbors side dinning in low key lighting makes for relaxing evening.(Especially if farther down the wharf they stop the loud music)

We had seen this restaurant as we walked along the pier earlier in the week. My husband decided he wanted to have his birthday dinner here so we made reservations (which we did not need). When we arrived they had put Happy Birthday on our...table with small little pink flowers. It was so lovely. My girlfriend and I ordered the short ribs. NOT like in the US. Thin piece of meat rather tough, but live and learn. Next time I will know. Everyone else raved about the food. The service was a bit slow, but my husband does not liked to be rushed so it was fine with us. We enjoyed the beauty of the ocean while having great conversation with our best friends.More

We visited with 2 other couples mid January. There was a lot of staff around but no one doing anything except the 1 young waiter . I'm sorry I didn't get his name because he deserves major kudos. It was because of him I didn't...get up and leave. The menu has a great selection and very good prices. I was the only 1 out of 6 that was very disappointed with my food. I ordered the bbq chicken with sweet potato chips and got chicken slathered in bbq sauce with 1 tiny, cold, hard, old potato and some sliced tomatoes with lettuce. I was really looking forward to a meal out so I think that emphasized my disappointment. We noticed the other tables that had been there a long time before us still hadn't been served their order and all of a sudden the owner showed up. Plates started to come out but I would say the rush influenced the quality. A table beside us order flambe dessert. I don't know much about it but a different "waiter" started it, put food in which instantly stuck ( he was trying to scrape it off) and then walked away and left it for about 10 minutes. By the time he came back it was smoking. He showed it to the table which refused it because it was charred black! He disappeared and we didn't see him for the rest of the time we were there. After our meal was done, we waited over an hour for our check with no additional drinks or service being offered. Start to finish it took almost 3 hours! When all was said and done, my friends were happy with the food. That's the only reason I gave it a 2.More

The server was very attentive and helpful. He was a little overworked as he was the only waiter that night, but nonetheless he did a great job. I ordered the short ribs and they were barely edible. They were grilled and tough. My wife had...the beef fajitas which were ok and luckily enough for both of us to eat. The wine was from Baja and was superb. The restaurant has a good exterior atmosphere; the music was just at the right volume so that it was easy to have a conversation. I would try it again, but stay away from the short ribs.More

My wife and I did not feel like cooking, so we decided to get in the car and dine at the Marina. When we arrived at the security gate, the guard asked which restaurant we were going to visit. We weren't sure and said we...would decide when we looked at the menus. It wasn't until we offered a restaurant name that he let us pass. Not a good start! On this evening three restaurants were open, we chose the Marina Grill. July in Manzanillo is slow for tourism, so we had choice of seating overlooking the boats in the marina. We started with drinks and the asparagus appetizer; the asparagus was wrapped by a sheet of melted cheese, there also was a medley of cut bell peppers in a fruit compote. My wife had grilled chicken accompanied with pasta and salad. I went for the grilled salmon with fresh vegetables and mashed potatoes. Portions of fish and meat were generous, the sides were the right size. We shared the cheesecake with a couple of cappuccinos. The food was very good, the surroundings superb, and the service was not rushed, but attentive. We had two waiters serving us and both spoke English. Price for drinks, appetizer, main courses, dessert and cappuccinos was $730 pesos. This is an excellent restaurant for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends. On previous occasions we have had the Caesar Salad for 2 and Spanish coffees. Both of these are prepared at the table.More

Marina Grill is the last restaurant at the end of Las Hadas Marina. My opinion is that if they re-vamped their menu to make it appear more appealing, and replace the plastic chairs they would get more business -- But don't be deceived !! The...food and service is impeccable !! All of the food is prepared fresh and over a flame grill which creates a wonderful flavor. We highly recommend it.More

Let me start with the fire roasted salsa! Blended table side with a mortar and pestle it was the most delicious thing I had eaten all week! We triend the guacamole, grilled chorizo, empanadas and the tomato and cheese salad (think tomato bocconcini) All were...delicious! For entrees I would recommend the tuna or Jambalaya. It seems all of the items are cooked over a charbroiled outdoor grill. The tempranillo served by the glass was lovely. After drinking less than adequate house wine all week, this was a nice change! A casual atmosphere overlooking the marina. The service was fast, friendly and efficient. This restaurant is well worth visiting!More
