When in Manzanillo, treat yourself to El Marinero restaurant located behind the Hotel Marbella. This restaurant offers both, outdoor seating by the beach as well as elegant indoor seating. The food is excellent: fresh seafood prepared the traditional Spanish way. The portions are huge so you may want to consider sharing an appetizer (the tortilla Espanola is to die for)... More

Very expensive by Mexican standards. Food not that great, although a change from standard fare. Service was poor. Kids were running around and squealing. View okay, but there are many places with the same, or better views and ambiance. Never again.

Our first visit to this restaurant was with friends. Snapper prep was excellent. I can't remember the sauce on the fish but it was great. We went back a 2nd time and ordered their seafood pialla. It had clams, octopus, lobster, crab and shrimp in it. Very very tasty. Be hungry when you order it or prepare to take a... More

I was tempted to shy away from a small hotel restaurant, but we were tired and decided to give it a try. We are so glad that we did. The chateaubriand was excellent as was my chicken. The food is Spanish and several types of paella are available. We enjoyed our meal on. The patio listening to the waves and... More

A good restaurent at the Marbella hotel,Manzanillo. Every meal was fresh, well prepared, tasty at reasonable prices. I tasted fish, meat and shripms and all dishes were great. On a nice day, to sit at the veranda, overlooking the beach ,sipping wine or beer and having a tasty meal at this restaurent was great. The staff are very helpfull/attentive.

Indoor and outdoor seating. If the waves are big indoor is a better choice. The food is very good and different from most Mexican food. Use the menu the staff does not speak English although they appear to.

The high standard and quality of the food never changes here. Whatever you chose you will not be disappointed. The Tapas are to die for. This time my wife and I had the mushrooms and the Torta Espanola which were delicious. The sea food and the beef were also delicious. The desserts looked just great but we just didn't have... More
