Excellent restaurant that is definitely off the tourist trail. I can't really recommend anything over another because everything I have ordered so far is absolutely amazing.

My husband absolutely loves this place! (And he's quite picky) they have delicious shrimp quesadillas that definitely make a trip down the border absolutely worth it!

I am probably the only Person I know that would rather go somewhere else, not because of the taste, prices, atmosphere, just that when I eat spicy shrimp tacos (most popular) I want the vein removed, hate the feeling of biting on it. This is not a bad review, just an opportunity for improvement

Taco de camaron enchilado that's what I recommend everyone to try first at el mazateno, it's the best. Try it, you will love it.

A few times, I've actually requested a few extra tortillas, because they load SO MUCH SHRIMP into their tacos, you can create 2 or even 3 out of one! (Yeah; I'm cheap!). Their famous quesadilla shrimp taco is just so tasty, I rarely order anything else. But it's all been very good, and the service is great and very friendly.

My Mexican friends took me here. They said it was good. And man, they are right. Always trust a local. This place is reasonably priced, You are basically eating outside on a picnic table-style but the entire restaurant is covered by a tent. It's self-serve. Go with a local. They know what to order. Once I ate the seafood taco,... More

You can't go wrong with any pick, the ceviche is awesome and the tacos are a delicious delight in every bite. Great service and ample servings plus surprisingly not expensive at all. Definitely worth visiting

This is a very good place for street sea food and fish tacos... the downside is that it is expensive... and I mean almost double than most fish tacos stands... I would rather recommend Titos!
