We happened upon here based upon the recommendation of Donna, the women who runs the Casa De Colores cooking school (also a must). The Tortilleria is run by 5 sisters, who make tortillas the truly old fashioned way. There were 4 of us. We ordered amazing chicken quesadillas (2 per order). Each meal came with a Coke. Total price (for... More

Best tortillas I have ever had we watched the ladies make them, ate poblano sobes and pork quesadillas, then ordered a kilo of tortillas to take back to the hotel. A fun road trip. If driving go north from CaboSanLucas on hiway 19. As soon as you pass Mega on the left turn right before the strip mall with Sorianas.... More

Hands down, the best masa tortillas you will find in Cabo! Freshly ground corn prepared daily and cooked as ordered. There is an English menu available on the counter. There is not a bad choice of filling/topping; everything is freshly made and tastes fantastic. I choose gorditas so I can pack them full of cactus salsa and still eat them... More

Discovered the Tres Diosas (Three Goddesses) based on a recommendation from Donna at Casa de Colores School of Traditional Mexican Cooking. My wife and I have done two classes with Donna... After our first class, she recommended we visit El Mexicano. Very affordable and authentic. Try the Pollo (chicken) or mushroom gorditas! These three sisters have been making corn tortillas... More

This is a locals place I try to visit each time I'm in Cabo. The only tourists you'll find here are foodies. They will give you a menu in English, but no one spoke English when we were there. Luckily, my brother-in-law is fluent in Spanish. When he told them I take a Mexican cooking class each time I visit... More

We ate here a couple of years ago and loved it. I asked Tripadvisor to add it to their list of restaurants so I could write Tortillaria Y Molina El Mexicano's first review. Recently I was fortunate enough to return to Cabo San Lucas, and I made sure I came here to eat again. El Mexicano is 2 miles north... More

Taken to this place by family who heard about it from cooking instructor. Hand made fresh made tortillas with perfectly balanced fillings. I really do like good Mexican food.

We were brought here for a quick bite before a class, but we got so much more! This is not a tourist destination, but if you're looking for authentic Mexican food at a great price and all the smiles you can stand this is the place. It is difficult to find - off of Aguajito (near the Soriana north of... More

This is NOT Taco Bell or the boxes of stuff you buy in Safeway and put ground beef in...this is the real deal. We went as a private foodie tour with Claudia Velo (google Donna's Casa de Colores). The ladies grind the corn in the morning, make the dough by only adding water. Then run through a hand cranked machine... More

This place was recommended to us by an American expat who teaches Mexican cooking in Cabo. It's in a real neighborhood, and your cabdriver will need instructions on how to get there. But it's truly worth it. Run by four women from the State of Mexico, this tortilleria is unique to the Baja Peninsula. They make fresh nixtamal, which is... More
