We enjoyed our visit to Rancho Viejo. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Definitely worth visiting.

The tacos were delicious! We had to get them to go and they packed up all of the sauces for a perfect pool side dinner. We had the chorizo and Asada tacos. Horchata was great too! Make sure to visit this place when you come to La Paz!

Most of the time when I visit La Paz, I only go to a restaurant once with the exception of this one and one other. I went here and had a steak and chili relleno lunch and went back the next day for a quick bite, and ate tacos. When you make your trip to La Paz make sure you... More

That's what our Host told us to do when looking for this establishment. Sure enough, we saw the smoke coming from the streetside grille that this place uses to cook all their street tacos on. Totally a popular place for both locals and visitors alike. I had the best Campechana cocktail along with several preparada beers. My buddy had a... More

We stopped at Rancho Viejo twice on our most recent visit. The second time we brought our fresh catch in for them to cook and it was fabulous. They prepared it in two different ways and brought out so many sides for a very reasonable price, 200 pesos. We love the food at Ranch Viejo and it is very family... More

We wanted full on, authentic, flour tortilla, mexican tacos- Rancho is THE place for that. There are two locations along the Malecon. We tried both and would recommend the one off of the Malecon strip. Big windows set up on a hill, feels nicer than just on the street! The service is great. Loved the carne con chorizo taco so... A wonderful local restaurant with typical grilled meat and good chili rellenos. Friendly staff and mariachi singers passing through. Pass on the tortilla soup.

While visiting La Paz I mostly had meals at "Mexican-International" restaurants; Rancho Viejo was the "authentic" experience. I sense Rancho Viejo is a fairly decent version of an authentic Mexican experience. A cantina-decor, classic Mexican staples and decently priced - you won't be blown away, but most likely not disappointed either.

Stopped here after a long day on the water. Great meal. The tortilla soup was wonderful and the fish tacos and shrimp tacos could not be beat. Absolutely love the condiment tray with all of the goodies. Great meal for two for $10

We ate here two nights in a row which is a good testimonial in its self. The menu is huge , but it is all in Spanish. The smells from the chef cooking outside will be enough to lure you in. Service was quick and friendly especially since our first visit was on busy Valentine's day. The first night I... More

There are a couple of these, but this one is only open at night - fancier than the malecon partner that serves tacos. Very nice place
