This place has great tacos - you can purchase the meat of your choice by the kilo and they serve it up with tortillas and salsas. We like the barbacoa meat the best! The margaritas were very good and have a bit of a kick...More

Delicious aracherra tacos at this casual Mexican restaurant. Best Tacos in La Pax so far. Went back for dinner and we were serenaded by very talented musicians. A must in La Pazaa

Everyone in La Paz eats here, usually on street side tables. Best meat is “arrachera”... order 1/2 kilo for two or a kilo for 4-5. Comes with all the extras and roll your own tacos. Open 24 hrs!

We ordered 1.5 kilos (or 3.3 pounds) of arrechera to go. We received 1 kilo. When asked, they said it lost 1/2 kilo (1 pound) of juice while cooking. Not so...I watched the cook (and he even added oil to the grill). The charge was...More

With all the choices in La Paz- this place is always busy, and worth the wait. The service is excellent, the food fresh and the margaritas - handmade! Finding our favorite Baja racers’ jerseys on the wall, we’re an unexpected bonus!

In the old days Rancho Viejo was the “go-to” place in La Paz for high quality, low priced food. Today, quality has gone down and prices have gon up. There are many better places for authentic Mexican food in La Paz.... like the carnitas stand...More

My rating for the original restaurant is 3 stars, for the one on the Malacon 1 star. There was really nothing wrong with our meal at the original location except that for the same price or less there are so many better restaurants in La...More

We drop by for breakfast or lunch every time, we are in the area. Very reasonable prices for meals. Staff is friendly and efficient. Food is delicious. Authentic Hispanic dishes are wonderful and easy to share.

Great tacos for lunch. Limited English spoken, but worked out with pointing at the menus. Very limited beer selection, even though the menus said otherwise. Good food, plenty of it. Only problem was when paying. Turned out the tip was included in the bill, very...More

There are a couple of these, but this one is only open at night - fancier than the malecon partner that serves tacos. Very nice place
