If everything had been warmer (fried fish, shrimp, manta ray, etc) it easily would have been 4 stars. Seemed like the salsa bar was missing some of the usual suspects too. Very nice space and location, friendly service too. Watch out for all the bees around the bar if that bothers you (or you're allergic!).

Over a few days, we had fish, shrimp, clams, oysters and seafood soup. Everything was superb. Large place and service is fast and efficient. Well located on Malecon.

We visited La Paz in the off season (January), therefore with very few tourists. This was one of the very few establishments that were open for lunch: the menu is interesting, the place is kind of welcoming, the food was OK, but nothing to write home about: we had some guacamole to kill the appetite whilst we waited for our... This is not the main Bismark restaurant. It is another of their restaurants (the Bismark-cito on the malecon), same ownership. Heard good things about this restaurant so we went there for dinner. Very mediocre. Service was mediocre at best and not very friendly. They seated us where they wanted not where we preferred. Said they didn't have a vacant table... More

We had a great seafood dinner and our waiter was very pleasant and also helped us to learn a little Spanish. Food came our quick and the garlic shrimp was amazing.

Excellent service, sparkling lemonade was absolutely beautiful. Our food came out nice and quick and was delicious. Best garlic shrimp I have had in a long time and the steak was tender and cooked perfectly. Would definitely recommend.

Yes, this restaurant came highly recommended and our experience did not disappoint. We had dinner here on NewYears Eve with lobster, chocolate clams (a must have), bacon wrapped shrimp and a variety of desserts to share. All was delicious and so affordable! Dinner for 4 of us with drinks came to $100 USD. We returned on Sunday for paella (which... More

Oh, how we wanted this restaurant to be a good experience! We did receive several recommendations that we should visit here. Perhaps we had too high expectations. But the service and the food quality left a lot to be desired. Food was seriously average. The service was truly uninterested, and for the most part, we were ignored for the evening.... More

I rarely ever write negative reviews, but because many people in La Paz recommended this restaurant, I thought it'd be good to share. We went early in our trip as we didn't know the lay of the land very well yet. The service was terrible, we were freezing outside, very bright lights on the inside. No atmosphere. The lobster we...
