The wait staff had a lot of trouble understanding our order. Even though when I walked up and pointed to the “squid” the waitress repeated “squid”. The “martini” I ordered suspiciously appeared to be some sort of slushy mixed drink — I had doubts that...it contained even a drop of alcohol. My husband started feeling poorly so he went to the rest room which was apparently so disgustingly dirty he couldn’t go in. We left paying our bill for all we ordered and went to McDonalds and caught our ride home to afraid to eat what we bought from here. The restaurants on either side of this place looked great. I should have listened to my husband rather than trust the good reviews here.More

Great food with a great view! The prices were a little higher than average but we thought it was worth the view.

The food is good. Small portions, but I normally eat local Thai anyway. Outside of that, the menu is a little pricey for Krabi standards. The owner is Chinese and I speak fluent Mandarin so there wasn't a problem. The big issue was the old,...ugly Thai waitress that yelled at people and walked around like she was pissed off at the world. She was insanely rude to me when I asked about the wifi, almost demanded that I order immediately and wanted to charge me for a glass of water. I had to explain to the owner in Chinese the reason I was extremely unhappy with her. Avoid this waitress and your time will be well spent because the location is fantastic near the end of the cape and sound of the waves crashing into shore made it so much nicer. The western exposure for sunset is very romantic.More

We visited this restaurant after seeing it in the day and thinking how nice it looked.. despite there was no body else in eating (which is always concerning!) The following night we decided to take a walk back to potentially eat there.. after getting practically...forced to eat there by the waitress (very pushy and forceful!) we sat down.. firstly there was ants all over the table - fine as it’s overlooking the sea front so appreciate there may be some bugs etc.... Secondly my partners first choice of food wasn’t available (he wanted mussels however we were told they had ‘finished!’) so chose something else... 10 minutes later to be told that also wasn’t available! We nearly got up and left at this point but thought we would just stay and see how it was... I ordered a crab dish after the waitress sold it to me saying how amazing their crabs were, and large! When it came there was absolutely no meat what so ever, just shell! My partners dish which was a sea food stir fry (his 3rd choice!) was also poor, bland and nothing to it! When we complained, the waitress got upset saying how she would get into trouble with the chef if she gave our bad feedback?!? We didn’t get any money off the bill, not even a free beer! The bill came to 1200 bahts which is about £30 gbp - a lot of money for a one course meal in Thailand!! We left still hungry and very disappointed. Very poor, will not be returning, awful service, portion qualities and very overpriced! Please don’t waste your money on this restaurant, there are absolutely other many nice restaurants in Ao Nang!More

Food is very standard fare, though the fried calamari was done well. This was our second night in Ao Nang, and the sunset view from an Oceanside table was worth it. Prices moderate, bit higher than comparable restaurants but view is the reason you go.

The menu is on the high side considering it is one of the few seaview restaurant in ao nang and we expect the food and service to be good but it turns out to be so dissapointed. My husband ordered a seafood platter that was...displayed at the front of the restaurant before we took a seat and later we took about 15 minutes to look at the menu and ordered other mains and drinks. The food came one by one and the gap of presenting the food took about 5 to 10 minutes each. My husband confront the lady waitress saying the way they present the food is taking too long and she replied saying that my husband took a long time for the second order that is why the dishes served late but our last dish that we are waiting is actually the grilled fish which is included in the seafood platter that we ordered before we get seated. They never apologize and instead took the blame on their customer for causing the problem. Seriously the staff need to be train on how to improve the service. And not to mention the food is terrible!! It is not fresh. The seafood from outside tastes better than here! So dont come here and waste your money. If you wanted a sunset dinner, there are still other choices of restaurant along the seafood street.More

Came in here for a casual dinner. There were four party in our group and we decided to eat here because of the nice presentation of the seafood on the boat. Mind merit was very fresh although the environment was a bit tight. We ordered...a few seafood. I ordered Stir fried tiger prawns shrimp with garlic and pepper. My twoThai friends were able to communicate what we wanted ,although the waiter/chef understands and speaks eagles as well. My friend wanted some seafood crab on the meat, however the waitress (I think she's the cook too) were suggesting other recipe on what to order instead of the one presented on the menu. My two friends decided to stick to what was ordered. Everything looked delicious, my order came in last. It was fancy because it was sizzling. However, when it came to my table ,it looked like a Chinese seafood with little shrimp. I contemplated to ask the worker so I started eating. I was hungry at that time. There were only four pieces of shrimp on the plate with little veggies. it did not taste like a stir fry like what I pictured on the menu. In fact it looked like they poured sweet sauce on top with veggies. I eventually asked the lady, and she ended u giving it to me for free which was very nice. I did not asked for it to be free but the food was terrible for the price being in Thailand. I wanted to just give her a tip. The owner however, was easy to spot. He was working I think as a server to a few party and he would pass by my seat and not even smile or say "excuse me'. He adamantly says "Can you move your seat". The lace was way to small to have our table pushed forward to move our table. It was his restaurant. He should have modified the seats for conveniency. The chef/waitress mentioned to the owner that I got the food for free in the middle of the hallways and he was not happy about it. he said that "she can't even move her chair and I can't even get in". What kind of business owner should be catered to?It was not a customers fault you have a small restaurant? If it was moved, I'm glad to move myself. He was busy catering caucasian customers and not even once, he smiled or say hello. Never will I support business like this who do not know how to be humble and kind esp. if were giving them business. The lady gave the check and stated " I had to take a cut out from my salary Bec. your food is free". I mean who says that. Never eat here. Expect to get something less than your anticipation or even close to looking like the picture.Beware!More
