This is the only restaurant in Ao Nang that is directly on the beach and is a great place for drinks, swimming and watching the sunset. The prices are very affordable and therefore easy to wile away time there. However, more could be made of...this place if the quality and quantity of the food were to improve. Unfortunately, I found the portions meagre and the quality poor. For example, on the first day I ordered a staple pad kapao chicken with rice and a fried egg. What I received was about two tablespoons of greasy fried rice and a rubbery cold egg on top. When I tried again the following day and ordered a tom kha gai it came out green and was mostly bones. In summary, a great place to drink but the food needs working on.More

We were staying at a nearby hotel and noticed the Last Fisherman whilst walking along the beach and were nitially attracted by three young men performing a fire show on the beach by the restaurant. Despite the lack of foreign tourists, the restaurant was very...busy and we had to wait for a few minutes for a table. Having over eaten earlier and on the previous day, we didn't want a huge meal so opted for a pizza each. Both pizzas were very tasty and only a few crumbs remained! The average price for a Pizza seemed to be around 250-280 baht which given the location right on the beach and looking out to sea seemed very reasonable. Service was fine and we didn't have to wait too long for our food and both dishes arrived at approximately the same time. It was a very relaxing meal watching the sunset.a Would we eat here again...in all probability yes.More

Great Thai food. Clean Bathrooms. Easy to park your car. Great view. The family that owns the restaurant is so kind! Great service. Can get busy at sunset. Every other place on Ao-Nang, one must sit across the street from the beach.

One of the best holiday experiences I’ve ever had!! Very fresh and delicious food with incredibly picturesque view. Many variety of Thai dishes and seafoods. It’s on the beachfront, very private. Good place for family and friend gatherings. 👍🏼👍🏼🌟🌟🌟🌟💗

Just a short walking distance from our hotel and a little bit away from the "busy" street. Great location right at the beach. Loved the atmosphere here. Amazing food, so you can actually eat here for breakfast, lunch and dinner several times during your stay....Highly recommend the sunset snack as a sharing starter and the massaman chicken as mian course.More

This restaurant is in a good location on the beach. Food is really really nice and the beers are lovely and cold with sometimes ice on the bottles but unfortunately the extremely poor customer service let’s this place down.. rude is not the word, spoke...to us in a degrading manner and even chucked the menus at us on the table. This is a shame but if you’re not fussed about how you’re treated then the food is greatMore

A must visit when you are in Ao Nang. Too good to be true. Every dish is delicious, you can't order something bad here. Everytime we walk past The Last Fisherman, we always want to have a sit and order something. Daytime, or nighttime, the...vibes are always good, the staff is always friendly and helpful. And goddamn, the food. jummie!!! Must try dishes; Massaman Chicken French Fries Cheese Kiew Wan Pork Fried Rice with Shrimp and Squid Friend Chicken with Hot Basil in sticky sauseMore

We had read some good reviews about this restaurant but we’re a bit disappointed with the reality. Service not great, staff not very friendly, some actually quite miserable. We had to wait quite a while for our main courses to arrive, but food was good...(not great) when we received it. We did have desserts which were amazing though! Location is what sells this place, right by the beach and sea.More

Yes, it is a nice setting to watch the sunset from but with very slow service and poor food. We ordered calamari rings and fried soft shell crab which both were lukewarm and completely soggy. We ended up leaving most of the food uneaten. I...recommend to sit down for a drink, watch the sunset and move somewhere else for a decent meal. There are plenty of really great places around.More
