The menu is typical of the area, fair price for homestlye cooking, not fancy. Try the pizza . It is on a separate menu and quite good.

So here we are on the island having taken advice from an unenthusiastic and misinformed Tourist information lady at the office in Little Current. That is we were visiting out of season and on a Saturday night no less there were very limited choices of places to eat plus we had to be aware of service times. After checking out... More

The food here is average fare for a family restaurant. Service varies depending on the staff that day. We have eaten here a few times. The Roast beef dinner actually comes with Yorkshire pudding, Butter chicken is also ok, if you fancy some Indian. Their Italian wedding cake, is superb. One thing: We showed up for breakfast (they serve it... More

I will not be coming back to this restaurant . I ordered a wrap and it was completely soggy and un edible . When I asked to exchange it for something else I was argued with making me feel very uncomfortable. The food and service was awful .

We were a party of 7 and were seated on the outdoor patio. The place was fairly busy but we were served in a timely manner. The waitress was pleasant and accommodating. My wife had a grilled cheese and cauliflower sandwich on sourdough bread and was quite taken with it. I had the Rueben and it was very good as... More

I had lunch at the Roosterant for a business trip. The restaurant was not busy. I had a Caesar Salad with grill chicken. The salad was okay but the chicken was a little crusty. My colleges had burgers and a clubhouse. They had no complaints. The service was very fast and friendly. It is typical of small remote towns. No... More

After our very negative experience at the Manitoulin Motel down the road, discovering the Roosterant made the trip to the area worthwhile. Nice spot on main street. lots of parking, indoor or outdoor seating, Atmosphere, staff, menu selection great. The meal(s) themselves where VERY good and fairly priced . When back in area, we would definitely return to the Roosterant.
