We went just for a drink so don't know what the food was like but we were very impressed by the wheelchair access as I use a wheelchair. It is a very old tudor builidng, beautiful and well maintained with gardens. They have made a real effort to enable wheelchair access throughout the building as you can see that there... More

Stopped here for lunch, (25th March) and very quickly it was apparent there was only one member of staff working the bar, the restaurant, taking orders and clearing tables. Despite the pub being busy we still received excellent quick and friendly service. Tasty lunch and excellent staff Definitely worth a visit.

Fantastic idea doing half price Mondays! Had a great lunch with some friends. Every meal was cooked beautifully and the portion sizes were great! We all enjoyed it! I definitely will be returning again and look forward to trying fish and chips Friday deal!

I booked ahead as we were a party of three adults trvelling with three dogs, so we didn't want to leave it to chance. The lady on the phone was very welcoming & suggested she reserve a large round table to allow us 'plenty of room to spread out'! The food was lovely & reasonably priced. There was a band... More

Really nice old fashioned pub, good sized restaurant out the back as well as the pub area, good outside seating. Good pub grub, welcoming and friendly staff. Good little local. Animal friendly too.

Had nice meal with friends today, we all had jackets and they were well garnished. It was very cold in there despite having a think jumper and we sat near a radiator which didn't appear to be on. We all ordered a latte following the meal which was like a cup of warm milk. We would have got it changed... More

We arranged to meet friends for an evening and booked table for 8pm. We ordered food and our first course (main) was ok and waitress came and collected plates but no offer was made to offer desserts and we went up to the bar and was told kitchen was closed, 9pm not even offered coffee, when mentioned at bar after... This is one of the best pubs in Billingshurst, which it's beautiful and old design. It has a large front garden which is really great to use in the summer. I came here with my brother to catch up with some of his friends. The pub itself offers quite good food at reasonable prices. Ive been to the pub in... More
