We've stopped here quite a few times over the years and it's a really good restaurant with amazing views of the beach and surf at Soup Bowls and Parlours. This time we had flying fish sandwich and a house cheeseburger and both were delicious. The service we experienced was faultless but we did see some diners treated a little more... More

When I asked at 1-30pm could I have a table the charming waitress said she was sorry the kitchen was closed. mI looked so crestfallen that she gave me a great big hug and said she was only joking and then gave us a corner table with a great view . The seafood we ate was of an exceptional standard.... More

We loved our leisurely lunch here, a pleasant break in our day touring around the east coast. Our starters were quite original and hugely enjoyable and mains equally so. Our waitress was professional and knowledgeable with a wicked sense of humour. This was an all round good experience.

We stopped here whilst touring the island in our hire car and popped in for lunch. Wow, what a view!! Really good lunch time selection which had a local vibe and was very tasty. Nice touch of bringing tap water to the table without the cringing conversation of still, sparkling ... that the other restaurants insist on doing even though... More

We stopped for tea and breakfast at the end of a hike. Very limited menu and overpriced. Service a bit abrupt. Views are fantastic.

We booked a table on the terrace which was not available so we took one inside. Two of the starters were not available. Service was slow. Basically not enough staff to cope with the customers. Food was ok, fish was good, salads not so good - croutons were very soggy (inedible) and salad sat in a good deal of water.... More

We only went here for a quick and simple lunch, on our way to explore Bathsheba (we were staying on the west coast of the island). Fantastic views on the ocean from the high up sunny lunch terrace. My fly fish sandwich was quite adequate. No idea about other meals. As we were touring around the west coast for the... More

30 years ago I sat on the veranda of a cafe on the hillside by Bathsheba and soaked up this stunning location. Sadly the cafe is gone but the Round House is a delightful substitute

The location is beautiful. It looks over the coast. You have the choice to sit indoors or outdoors. The food was really good but I had an alcoholic beverage which tasted like they forgot to add alcohol! It was still very tasty. The staff was nice. I would recommend this place for others to try. If I should make another... More

We stopped off for lunch today. The restaurant was very busy - usually a good sign, but we had a good table overlooking the crashing waves of the East coast. There is no aircon, but the breeze coming through the open windows meant that it was unnecessary. Service was good and we had an excellent lunch. The Round house has... More
