My favourite spot for seafood. Beautiful walk to get there and then the chance to sit outside (weather permitting) with stunning views towards Arran. The seafood platter was first rate - very good value with enormous variety (but no lobster!). We had it with a...More

Wow what a lunch. A bit off the beaten track but well worth the effort. The place is quaintly rather basic but more than compensated with the quality of the food. It was a fine day so we ate outside on one of the many...More

We were completely wowed by the extensive seafood menu. The seafood and salmon platters are delicious, washed down by a bottle of Sancerre, in a stunning setting what could be better. They have high chairs for younger visitors, our one year old friend was delighted...More

After reading wonderful things about the cabin my family were looking forward to lunch after a long walk. The setting is truly breathtaking, and after securing a table in glorious sunshine we ordered 4 different dishes to share between us. What arrived looked like a...More

Description
We are now closed for 2017. Opening date for next year will be Sunday 20th May 2018. The Skipness Seafood Cabin is a seasonal, family run venue that prepares and sells locally sourced, fresh seafood dishes. It also provides a variety of homemade cakes and scones. The Cabin is set in the idyllic village of Skipness, which makes up for its removed, some may say isolated, location with beautiful scenery, easy walks, beaches, castles and stunning views of the Isle of Arran. The restaurant aims to provide an easy going relaxed atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable and leaves well fed and satisfied! We look forward to seeing you soon.
