We have visited here many times for a meal. Food has always been very good and excellent menu to choose from. Made from local produce it has never disappointed. Welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend the Brycynan for meals at any time of the day.

Excellent pub food and good value. Service also good. Would highly recommend. Suggest you might want to book to avoid waiting for table.

We go to Bryn Cynan every so often, as the food is always good, service is fast, the pub is cosy and it's only ten minutes from where we live. We used to either have a bean chilli or a sweet potato and spinach curry. They also said they could make a vegan pizza for us. We hadn't been in... More

The friendliness of the staff at this pub is second to none. The food is plentiful - I had a children's portion and that was ample for me. Food was hot and well presented not to mention tasty. Can thoroughly recommend this to anyone.

we have been eating at this pub for some 35 years and have enjoyed countless really great meals. We were aware that Gina and Dennis, the previous Landlords, had left recently but hoped that little had changed. What a disappointment. Service wasn't slow it was glacial. 35 minutes between starters being cleared and arrival of our 5 standard main courses.... More

The food is home cooked to a high standard and the quality excellent. It is a family friendly, traditional pub which also welcomes dogs in the bar area. The staff are helpful and friendly and it has a great atmosphere. Popular with visitors and locals alike. A great place to go for drinks or food and the woodburner makes it... More

We waited for an hour and a half, totally ignored by staff and when asked how long our meal would take - they said it's coming but still took another 30mins. No updates, just a generic sorry. It's wasn't even busy! WOULD NOT recommend it.
